I bought these to go into tile on plasterboard upon the advice of bunnings staff.Unfortunately, what you don’t know until opening the packet is that they have little barbs/wings thst make them wider than 8mm.Probably not an issue with most surfaces, but with porcelain tile, you aren’t getting anything wider than 8mm through an 8mm hole.So they only go ¾ of the way in before the hammer simply starts bending them, as the porcelain is harder than the plastic.I’ve had to cut the head off with a Stanley knife, but now they won’t be able to hold nearly as much weight as they’re supposed to.
