If you have waifish calves then you will probably love these socks. My calf at the widest point is 15" in circumference. For me the socks are vastly too tight, producing an unsightly mid-calf muffin top of egregious proportion. That said, the construction is brilliant, with a high thread density and reinforcements in all the right places. I just think that the socks are made for a demographic that is in short supply. I'd say go for it if your calf circumference is less than about 13.5".

Great quality materials, meet great style! These socks are not only comfortable but they do a great job staying in place. You have to be careful when removing the tags! Have no idea why they choose black thread sewn through all pairs of socks to attach the marketing even with fingernail clippers it tends to cause a snag, and at least one of the socks. I have experienced this with all of my multiple pairs of socks from Rapha. I hope they can find a better way to attached them together.

Been buying the Pro Long sock since 2015. The old version was much better. The cuff on these is way to tight causing an the skin on the back of the calf to "sausage" ... not attractive. They are also not as soft as the older versions. I do love the length but the bilge needs to go ! BTW the color green is stunning .
