My son is one of the smaller kids on his 10U team and this glove fits him well. He was comfortable using it in games after just 3 practices and time spent breaking it in at home. This is a good looking glove and the leather is higher quality than I was expecting. Very happy with the quick break in period, fit and quality at this price point.

Great fitting glove for my 9 year old. He started using it immediately, that is how soft and broken in it comes to you. Too early to tell but seems like a great glove for the price especially.
High quality leather and stitching. Palm appears a bit thinner than expected. Knocked the star off because it is nowhere near 80 percent broken in. 3 weeks of mashing it for 30+ minutes/day just to get it so an adult can close it consistently, will likely be another 3 weeks before the kid can.

My son loves the glove. Was easy to break in. This was our second R9 glove. Impressed with the quality of the leather and how soft it is. The R9 series is the perfect blend of quality and value for the 8-12 year old I think. A quality full leather glove before you step up to a $200+ level glove.
Bought for my 10 year old son. He loves it. It came in a bit more stiff than expected but it wasn't to bad to break in. After using mallet and working it, he was catching with it in practices after two days. Material and design are awesome. Great price too.

I was excited to purchase a new Rawlings catchers mitt for my 11y/o son. Have been looking around and settled on one on your website. We received the package and I let my son open it and to our surprise it wasn’t a catchers mitt but was a first baseman’s mitt. I am a strong supporter of small businesses and very much dislike the big box franchises but when this happened we had to act quick and off we went to a big named place. I am bummed in how it turned out but the refund was seamless and quick.
