This glove is garbage. Yes it's a great price and yes it fits 7-8-9 year old kids but it's terrible. The way the mitt closes it pushes the ball out of their hand. Multiple kids that can catch 80%-90% of the balls with other gloves drops below 50% when using this glove. Don't waste your money.

Arrived extremely quickly, and it is super soft!! My son doesnt have the best fine motor skills, and he was able to close the glove with ease out of the package! Great gift!

Excellent quality leather first base glove for my left throwing Grandson (8 yrs. old). This glove was offered at a great price during the summer sale. I will definitely order from Baseball Savings again.
This is a really great starter first baseman glove. There are definitely nicer gloves on the market but you’ll be paying a lot more for them. This glove is a great bang for your buck. My 11 year old lefty son transitioned from third base to first base this year and has really loved this glove. It came out of the box nearly fully broken in so he was able to use it in games almost right away. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a starter first baseman’s glove

Pretty well broken in enough from the factory that our 7 year old girls were able to make many more outs at first! Used it the same day it was delivered at practice. Many girls had confidence increases! Well worth the purchase!
Quality glove at a budget price. Good leather quality thats nit stiff. Definitely game ready the day of delivery. If youve never used a 1st basemen glove it does take a few catches to get used to. Highly recommend until you want to move upbto the higher priced ones
This is a fine entry-level mitt for a younger player or one who is trying first base. It's almost broken in on arrival, so very little work to do there. Obvious downside of that is it isn't likely to keep it's shape very long. But quality enough that with proper care it should last them long enough until they need a larger size anyway.
My 9 yr old is left handed and plays first base. I wanted to get him the proper mitt for that and this didn’t disappoint. It’s the same price as the youth style but one inch bigger. I highly suggest waving off the youth mitt and just buy this one.His other youth Rawlings fielding glove was very stiff and the cheaper leather won’t break in. And it was almost the same price as this one. This one came 80% broken in and after about two days of practice he has it fully broken in. He’s 9 and can easily close the mitt on the ball and it doesn’t pop out. Any older kid or adult will have no problem working with this mitt.
