Honestly , I have never in my life paid more than 40 bucks for a pair of sunglasses. I would think that shades this expensive would be scratch resistant or even have a lifetime warranty. No such luck. However ,,i gotta say , I love these shades , and will definitely buy them again. The fit is perfect, the look is excellent. And it is refreshingly nice to own something so...well, nice. Are they bulletproof? No Scratch resistant? Nope. Lifetime warranty ??? LMAO no. Best sunglasses you will ever own? You betcha. The cool factor makes them worth it.

These Polarized Ray-ban sunglasses are the best. After my purchase, I attended a small get together at Redondo Beach, which turned out to be the perfect opportunity to test out my new sunglasses. WOW! was I ever impressed, best viewing I have ever had at the beach. Everything was soo clear, absolutely everything. I highly recommend everyone to hurry and get down to your nearest Macy's and purchase yourself a pair of these wonderfully, good for the eyes sunglasses. Bless your eyes with something wonderful, they will love you for it. Go Macy's, the price was fantastic as well. Hurry!

These sunglasses fall squarely in the bottom of the "Just Okay" category. To start, the frames don't feel very durable. One good accidental squish and you'll never be able to bend them back into place the way they originally were. Secondly, the springs in the temples don't feel very robust. They don't have much tension to them and the arms don't have that "snap" when you open and close them. the arms are also a tad long. I had to bend them down a little at the bend to prevent them from hitting the brim of my hat when worn backwards. Thirdly, I bought these because gray lenses are best for bright, high contrast sunny conditions but these lenses aren't as dark as I was expecting. I'm let down by these to be honest. I'll probably return and get a pair of Maui Jims instead.
Sturdy but lightweight glasses. The stems bend inward AND outward, so you don't have to worry too much these getting stretched too wide.The size is a bit misleading... I'm a man with a very small narrow face and the 63-15 size actually fits great. (In other Ray Ban styles I typically wear something between 52-55 depending on the style)These wrap around your face nicely (rather than stick out on the sides), and the result is getting a much wider coverage area for your eyes and nice snug fit for a more narrow face. If you have a wide or flatter face, these probably won't work for you.There are also adjustable nose holders and a high bridge, so they can fit all nose shapes, especially people with high bridge noses.
I bought my first pair of Rb3183 Gunmetal Polarized sunglasses back in 1980 as a graduation present to myself. I do take care of my things so they do last me a longer time than someone who doesn't. I found it time to replace them after I noticed a slight crack in the lens and a couple tiny scratches on the lens. After 38 years of service from my very first pair of Ray-Bans, they do not owe me anything. When I received my new pair today, when I put them on, it felt like a well fit custom designed pair. Just like my old pair they always fit me like a hand in a glove. I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend purchasing Ray-Ban brand. They are a high quality product.
Fantastic sunglasses. Light on the face and good visibility with only the nose bridge pieces obstructing the view on certain angles (not noticeable 99% of the time). The top wire frame is barely noticeable as well and sits about level with my eyebrows. They wrap around the face well and are suited to people with normal to smaller faces (like me). If you have a *slightly* larger face and prefer this style then I would probably recommend the RB8305 - which I've owned previously - which has a slightly larger lense. The tint on these lenses is milder compared to what I've had in the past as well. But even on sunny days, I'm not squinting at all. Happy with this purchase (esp. considering it was on sale).

I've been wanting rhese sunglasses for a while now and finally "pulled the trigger." I have two other pairs of Ray-Ban's and the other RB 3183 is the tinted lenses, not polarized. Loving that look, I also needed the protection of polarized lenses so I upgraded to these RB 3183 Polarized Gray/Mirrored. Love everything about them except the right lens had a tiny spot on it that appears the inside coating was nicked or not polarized. You can see it in the light where a slight spot of blue is missing. Not worth the hassle of doing a return. But still annoying. That's all part of buying online.
It is a good value and true to advertisement. The frame is good, however, what I did not foresee was that the little bolts on the lenses, which attach the nose pieces will take some time to get used to because they somehow are visible. It is something you really can singleqoute t notice without trying on. I got prescription lenses and they are pretty thick even though I picket the recommended best value middle option. I would go with the finest option next time. I am comparing the lens thickness with that of my prescription everyday transition lenses from my optometrist and they are more than 2x thicker. So, at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Having said that I have no regrets and may buy again from this site in the future.
