Razer Basilisk V3 x Hyperspeed Gaming Mouse - White - Only at Best Buy

This mouse is the budget friendly version of the Basilisk Pro, and I think its shape works better as a productivity mouse than a gaming mouse. There's less RGB and no infinite scroll compared to the pro version, and you can connect with either the included dongle or bluetooth. It also needs a AA battery to run. Battery life has been really solid on bluetooth but it would have been nice to have this mouse be rechargeable from the start. The hypershift button can act as a function key and give all the other buttons on the mouse a secondary command. The mouse feels solid but is a bit heavy for a gaming mouse in my opinion. Overall the design and build quality of this mouse is good and if you utilize the razer synapse software you can customize the look, buttons and dpi settings even further.

One of the best mouses I think I ever touched. It’s really comfortable. It’s performance is amazing it connected to my computer via Bluetooth and less than seconds I would highly recommend this mouse. It even has a really cool glow on the scroll pad which I’ve never seen before on the mouse. This is probably one of the best mouses on the market, I would not hesitate to buy another one. God forbid. I broke it or something, but it seems very adorable and well-made, very responsive and sensitive. You could adjust the settings and windows to control sensitive. It has a lot of extra buttons that could perform additional tasks as well, which is a huge plus I’ve never even knew was available with mouses before 

First “good”‘mouse I’ve used since the track ball

I’ve always been a console gamer but recently I needed a new computer. Upgrading from my Commodore 64. I figured since I need a lap top for work and personal use, might as well make it a gaming laptop. Which means I need a mouse. This was the first one that popped up under “recommended “ read some reviews and felt like it would be a good starting point. So far I can’t complain. I don’t play competitive shooters but this is good for what I’ve been using so far. If you’re unsure and okay with this price, do it. You won’t be disappointed. Especially for an old dinosaur like myself.

Pretty good over all but

I bought this mouse 2 years ago now and here are my thoughts. I really do like this mouse but it comes with some some issues that I did not see many people discussing, For example when using the dongle the mouse in 2.4 mode after about 6 months will now freeze on the screen. The only way to rectify the situation that has worked for me is to completely remove it's profile from my computer then reinstall it. The quick fix version that sometimes works is to switch to Bluetooth and use it that way for a bit then switch back. It doesn't always work but sometimes. Unfortunately reinstalling it only lasts for a while. 6 months later same deal I had to repeat the steps and it works again. Lately I've had to do so every 2 or 3 weeks. However that being said for a palm player it's very comfortable in the hand even for someone with smaller hands like me.Some pros are: Comfortable grip, and quick response, pretty long battery life.Some cons are: uses AA batteries. I was under the misapprehension that it was a rechargeable mouse. I now ask before making purchases. Having to uninstall and reinstall just to get it to work so frequently. Lastly are the 2 programable buttons. I do wish that the button closest to the thumb was a little smaller, so that I (having a smaller hand) could reach both buttons comfortable as it is now I have to look down and reposition my had just to reach the second button. As it sits right now I can't reach it at all.

I dont know a whole lot about PC gaming. I bought this product because im a graphic design artist and was looking for a more precise mouse to enhance my work. There was a little bit of an adjustment period getting used to the intense sensitivity and unexpected ease regarding the wheel click (I struggled to not click unintentionally). The learning curve isbmy only complaint. The customizable RGB is a nice touch, allowing the user to create layers of effects including sound reactive lighting in the wheel. The 6 buttons are fully customizable with an option to have a "shift" button, enabling even more settings to be assigned, which has made switching between my Adobe tools super quick and easy. I am able to resize, edit, etc much more accurately than i could with a traditional mouse. I will warn you against this item if you have particularly small hands. It is quite large. I can barely reach the far "thumb" button without readjusting my form. My hands are a little larger than average (32 year old, 5'5" female). All in all i am happy with my purchase. Good job Razer.

States on December 18, 2023This product far exceeded my expectations. I have big hands and it fit perfectly in my hands and the feel is extremely comfortable. You have so many options when it comes to customization and button placement. The mouse comes with hyperlink capabilities which makes it so that you are able to assign 2 different options for every button. This version of the mouse give you the option to use it over 2.4 Bluetooth or Wi-if to connect to the computer or pc. It is lightweight and very fast. It even give you the ability to have 5 different DPI speeds at the click of a button. This has been the best mouse I have owned and if you are a gamer looking for a competitive edge this is definitely the mouse you should look into.

I generally don't care about RGB stuff, but I do like having the scroll wheel light up so I can find it in the dark!Otherwise:Good: The shape fits my hand nicely. The buttons feel light and quick but solid and stable enough that it doesn't feel cheap. It works well with BT but the dongle is nice. Accuracy is very good. Battery life is at least as long as advertised.Middle: Obviously a rechargeable battery would be nice but the long battery life makes it okay. The weight is a bit high compared to my other gaming mouse (the battery doesn't help), but not terrible. The adjustment of DPS is granular but the middle two settings work fine for me. It would be nice if the other buttons had a more open mapping of keys.Bad: Nothing really. It is a nice mouse.

Great mouse with terrible life expectancy and terrible support from Razer. After 6 months of owning the scroll wheel stopped working and was glitching out. After doing some searching apparently thats a very specific problem with this mouse for many. I contacted razer support since it was under warranty still (1 year manufacturer). Razer support responds 1 time a day and usually late at night. So after 5 days of back and fourth mandatory troubleshooting they finally declared my device defective. I got forwarded to the RMA team to have my mouse replaced. Well they told me I must agree to some terms to begin the process. One term was that I must send the mouse in with prepaid label.
