Awesome mouse for gaming and general use

First "gaming" mouse I've ever used and I can't be happier. Fits very comfortably in my hand. The high DPI takes some getting used to at first and you may need to adjust some settings to make it move at a comfortable speed but after that it's amazing. The Chroma lighting is very pretty but its usually obscured under your hand when in use. Overall, worth the price if you want a top quality mouse.

Best mouse on the market in it's price range

Very sleek, easy to install software with custom rgbs which are simple enough for a monkey to set up. Comfortable in hand good laser precision and DPI rates of up to 16000 to fit any gamers style and or preference absolutely blows all of the other competition out of the water at this price range and definitely a worthy investment I've had this mouse for just over two years and haven't run into any issues yet. It's one of the mice where when it eventually gives out on you over a long period of time, buying another identical one is a perfect replacement.

Easy to setup

This mouse is easy to setup. A little bigger than the one i had before but have been able to adjust easily enough. The scroll wheel feels nice and has a good satisfying click to it. The side buttons have enough sensitivity to them so i don't click them accidentally. It is also easy to reassign the different buttons.

Fits my hand well - FPS
15 December 2019

This Deathadder Elite is the best shaped mouse I have ever used, especially for FPS. Also, it is far superior to other mice in regard to how fast the right and left mouse buttons work. It's the second Deathadder I have owned. This mouse is so good, I am recommending a Razer product, and most of us in the know, understand that Razer use lousy components (I have had to replace a number of other Razer products). I also bought another Deathadder Elite for my adult daughter for Xmas.

Nice but not quite there
29 August 2019

It is a nice mouse, and it is better than the one I had before. However, it still feels "raw" in my opinion, on performance (or is it drivers) and ergonomics. Sure, it has a very nice Chroma light. Yes, it has got "clutch" that by default "slows down" the motion, e.g. increases precision. However, with clutch untouched, I feel like while speed is there, there is not enough accuracy. Another downside is mouse's right side. Did you notice none of mouse manufacturers show the right side clearly in all profiles? The right side is where two fifth of my hand go (two fingers) and it must be comfortable. I expected better, just by looking at the left side with nice rubber "slope", I expected similar but steeper on the right - however it is not as nice and a bit crummy over ... MoreIt is a nice mouse, and it is better than the one I had before. So, not top comfort - but will do. Drivers are up to date, still can't quite set desired precision. Oh, and I had to downgrade polling speed from default 500Hz to lower 125Hz (1000Hz is available), because otherwise my PC would not register either button presses or button releases. Both are clumsy in a game, as you can imagine. So I found higher polling rates unusable in my situation and hardware.

Nice, light and deadly.
2 August 2020

The DeathAdder replaced an old logitec. With 16000 DPI and variable scan sensitivity the mouse needed me to knock down the "twitchiness" to something I could handle - but I've gotten used to it now and started to up the sensitivity. Nice and light, comfortable in the hand and with a great set of programmable buttons. Linked to the BlackWidow Elite keyboard via Synapse software and all is good.

Perfect for any gamer
15 May 2018

I have had this gaming mouse for almost 2 years now and i can honestly say that it has done me a world of good. I like how it matches lighting control scheme with my Razer Black widow V1 which has been kicking as long as the mouse. The RGB adjusting and personalisation is unlike any other i have seen before, being easy to use yet still allow people that have a greater understanding of electronics to make a nearly infinite amount of possibilities with the lighting as well as endless settings to tinker with in terms of macro keys and heaps more. I personally could do with an upgrade to keep up to date but other than that i have no reason to change any of my Razer products i have operating at the moment. I must tip my hat to the people down or up at Razer for providing the best product they can at the time only limited by technological growth and they have proven to update their products ahead of the competitors. I will inform anybody who is reading this that i have not used any other big name brand keyboards which i am sure also develop quality products but that is because Razer just simply works and it has the perfect amount of adjustable and customize able features without putting too much information right up in the customers face. all in all i would say that i am a true believer of the Razer Cult and i will preach where i feel it is due. I truly look forward to seeing what Razer has to offer in the future and i %100 support where they are heading. :)

Razer DeathAdder

its a great mouse. Good shape, not too heavy and some great buttons. Some people have issues with Razer Synapse, but I think its fine. Synapse 3.0 or whatever its called, has problems but that’s only on the Naga Trinity and the newer mice iirc. There’s also the common complaint with Razer’s quality assurance and people saying their products give out after 18 months or so. I personally have not encountered any issues with my Deathadder, RAZER ABYSSUS ESSENTIAL, and I’ve had them for almost two years. I no longer use them daily because my preferences have changed( I like smaller, lighter mice now), but they still hold up, so your mileage may vary. Definitely give a try though, ya might like it.

The bar has been set
27 March 2018

I bought this mouse 5 months ago and I'm still very impressed. I'm lucky enough to have access to many high end peripherals from a range of vendors, Razer has never been a brand I've preferred. This mouse feels great, button spacing is very natural, precision is noteably better than many options that are twice the price. Weight and resistance are spot on. It feels both solid and agile, would purchase again without hesitation.

The only mouse you will ever need!
13 May 2019

I have been using this mouse for over 2 years now and never have I wanted to switch to a different one. It is ergonomic and has a great texture to it.There are nice rubber padding on both sides of the mouse where the thumb and the pinky rests. They provide a good grip. One of the padding seems to be losing its adhesive but that is okay because I use this mouse daily for long hours.I have been using this mouse on a steelseries mouse pad and the combination has never disappointed me.
