I bought this scooter to get to work via light rail. At the end of the day, that's 3 miles. So far, it's great. Very efficient, light, easy to fold and carry, and fun. Also, it's legal on the sidewalk here. The electric ones are not. Plusses: Fun, light, efficient, strong. An extremely effective urban commuting vehicle. The large diameter wheels are a huge plus, easily going over pavement cracks and even railroad and streetcar rails when set level with the pavement. I don't jump curbs. Yet. Minuses: Brake only effective at low speeds. Prepare to jump off and shuffle to a stop if you must stop while going fast. The folding lock mechanism started to bind up about two weeks in, requiring a lot of grease. I bought this because I wanted an electric scooter, but I also want to not have to ride an electric scooter on roads with cars on them. So I can ride on the street when it's safe, and ride on the sidewalk when it isn't. :) I've been using it for 2.5-3 mile rides and it's been completely fine! Not as fast as a bike or electric scooter, and the footbreak is a bit questionable. But much faster than walking, and pretty nice overall ... especially for $90! I have bought a helmet (save your brain!), light (for late riding ...), bag (I sweat ... a lot, when riding, so this way I can not have something pressing on my back when that's happening), and some gloves (so the ride's less bumpy) for $60 as well, and I think the helmet and gloves are necessary anyways. Bought this to scoot with my boys. I’ve had it a few weeks and so far I’m pretty happy with it. The kickstand is easy to kick up with your foot if you balance or lean against something. To put it down you do need to bend down and push it down. Not ideal. Would prefer to be able to push it down with my foot. The slow gliding braking isn’t ideal. I don’t know how the other brands brake but if you need to stop quick you’ll have to hop off since pushing down on the brake you keep gliding, just slower. Closing it and opening is a little tricky too. Maybe it’ll just take some practice but the knob doesn’t glide very easily to close/open. Smooth ride. No rattling noise. Seems like it’ll last awhile but the foam handles may need to be replaced at some point.

I’m 5’2 38 year old woman 145lb and it’s perfect for me. I love working out like running and cycling. I never owned a scooter and wow it’s an awesome workout. The scooter is well built and perfect for adults. The wheel size make it have a smoother ride then other razor models, My husband who is 5’5 180lbs bought the same one as this one. It’s perfect for him too. We use it around the neighborhood.
Overall this is a great push scooter! It is the smoothest rolling and gets me the most distance from my pushes out of any I have tried. I'm 6' 1'' and the stem goes up plenty high. Despite it's large wheel size the scooter deck is very low to the ground, which makes pushing MUCH less tiring. Part of what makes it roll so good is that the wheel contact patch is smaller than some of the other scooters with big wheels.There are a few downsides. For an adult the scooter deck is not big enough. My front foot is usually stuck up past the deck to fit my rear foot. The handlebar snaps into place, and isn't held down with a clamp. The small contact patch of the wheels help with rolling, but are not very good for parallel cracks in the road. It's possible for your front ... MoreOverall this is a great push scooter! Smooth ride and does what I expect of a scooter. I just wish it was refined more for adults. The foam grips are a little small, the deck could be a little wider for big feet, and the color scheme could be made to look more adultish. I saw a commercial with a man in a suit riding a razor scooter and it doesn't match. The edge of the deck is very sharp and the deck could be raised a little more for more clearance. Add a hand brake and a front suspension and you would have a new class of scooter. All in all, it does the primary job and I recommend it.

The reason for replacing the older scooter was that the original one had a shock absorber on the aft wheel that would result in the platform to angle downward greatly reducing the clearance to the road surface. This would result in the scooter to scrape the road greatly reducing the speed and nearly causing me to fall off the scooter multiple times. This scooter has no shock absorbers and also has slightly bigger wheels. This solved the scraping issue. However, when compared to the older scooter, the wheel bearings were slight inferior. The main problem with this scooter is with the handles. The hand cushions have a hard-plastic cap that bites into your hand. I am in my 50s and a Facilities Manager of a large building. The job requires a LOT of walking and every second of my day counts. I bought this scooter as a tool to increase my efficiency in maneuvering around the property. IT WORKS GREAT! I cant comment on how it rides on the road but it flat out flies on concrete surfaces. It is well built, easy to steer, feels safe, brakes smoothly and just plain fun. My only complaint is with the kick stand. It is difficult to kick down when parking which is annoying so I deducted one star. BTW,Folding the handle bar down for compact storage is easy and carrying only takes a few seconds. Glad I bought it and hardily recommend it to anyone on the fence about making the purchase.

It will stand the test of time and iif you dont use it as much as me, the things that wore out on mine could last a lot longer. its taller handlebars means an adult can use it with ease. and lastly the accident I was in proves that its pratically unbreakable so I dub it the Toyots Hilux of scooters

Has to return it after ~20km...I'm from Germany, and here we've got quite a few hills. So one has to push the brakes a bit more longer and often than a usual driver. Otherwise, your reach a rocket speed (which is actually a big plus on an empty road) and no longer control the situation.A break mechanism is too week to stop from the speed the scooter is able to reach.
