I'm putting this review for the E175 model here since most of the other Razor scooters on Influenster are filed under Mens' Electric Razors!...My boys ages 5+ have a lot of fun playing on this scooter when visiting a friend in town. They'd love to have one of their own at home too but I'm not sure it would handle the dirt roads out here. We may need to find something with bigger all terrain wheels and tires. But on pavement the boys have a blast. I like that it doesn't take off on them as soon as they turn it on. They have to peddle it manually to get it up to walking speed before the motor engages. The Razor E175 is rated for ages 8+ and 120 pounds max weight. It's definitely not for toddlers but some kids younger than 8 years can manage it too with some care. By age 12 or so the deck may begin to feel too small. Its max speed is 10mph, which doesn't sound fast, but is pretty quick. It takes about 4 hours to charge and can run for about 30 minutes on a full charge. My very small lightweight riders were able to get a bit more mileage out of a charge. It's a fun toy. Would recommend riding it with a bike helmet and perhaps knee and elbow pads too.

The perfect electric scooter! I got this for my son recently, he’s been riding it for a few weeks and really likes how smooth it rides. It hops over curbs and bumps around the pot holes in the road. It’s great to ride on the sidewalk and through out town. It assembled easy and gives a good quick charge. He rides his for hours each day without it ever running down the battery. He packs his charger with him though when we went down the street to a restaurant and charged it up outside while we ate! We ask first to make sure the business didn’t mind! Fold up is easy and stores easy too. Especially if you have a small space just fold it up and put in the closet or even under your bed. I’m telling you it is well worth the money and is way better than the other ones he’s ... MoreThe perfect electric scooter! DANGEROUS! NOT 0 "TO" 11 MPH - ONLY 0 "OR" 11 MPH!

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! NOT ZERO "TO" 11 MPH! ZERO "OR" 11 MPH!!!Hope you don't have much of a co-pay for emergency room visits, because...Once it's kick-started enough to engage the throttle it goes ONLY straight to 11 mph. There is no in-between, no matter how slight you turn the throttle. It's extremely dangerous. My very coordinated 12 year old AND me (mom) had the same scary experience.Razor sells an "adjustable variability" kit for over $60 to make it to where the speed is adjustable. This makes me aware that they are aware of the problem. It makes me wonder why they don't just make them all like that to begin with. Oh wait, I know, then they wouldn't be able to make $60 more off you. Plus, once you tinker with it to make it ride-able, besides having $60 ... MoreEXTREMELY DANGEROUS! NOT ZERO "TO" 11 MPH! Your child will very highly likely get hurt from falling onto pavement at a rate of 11 mph.I'm disappointed and so is my daughter who carefully picked this out and waited over a week for it to arrive. But I am very proud of her maturity for trusting her instincts that it's too unsafe to use, after trying it only once and getting very scared with how powerfully it "took off" once it engaged.

Fraud. I do not recommend this product!
19 July 2023

bought this scooter for a child's birthday in the Wolmart online store paid warranty and return. When the scooter arrived, the child immediately tried to go and almost broke his head (((it starts like crazy very fast and does not have a slow drive. How is this? This product is for children from 8 years old? Even I could not resist it. Now the store refused to return the product. They said sports goods are not returnable. This is a scam!!! Not recommended! Waste of money!

Goes Really Fast!

This scooter is simple to put together. You simply attach the handle bar to the base via a large Allen wrench. It charges quickly enough AFTER its initial charge of 12 hours out of the box. (Don’t be tempted to use it before the 12 hours are up) It also stays charged for a long time providing hours of use. It has an off/off button that glows red so you can see from a distance if your kid forget to turn it off after use. To use this scooter, you must first get it going to 3mph before the motor will engage…but then there is NO gradual increase of speed. It goes from 0 to 11 mph as soon as the motor engages. It literally jerks you forward! My 8 year old does not like this feature at all. I definitely recommend wearing a helmet with this scooter because of its speed and it’s initial jerk upon the motor engaging. Overall we love this scooter!

Great for confident kids
28 July 2023

My son just turned 6 year old and I got this for his birthday. He really loves its top speed, so quick off the mark. One thing I did notice is that the Razor Powercore E100 scooter cannot go slow, heads straight into top speed. When you compare this to others scooters which are variable speed therefore can go slow or fast, these would be easier to manage for timid kids. In conusion, I can understand if Razor Powercore E100 is too much immediate power and speed for some kids, especially if they are timid and not used riding to around in push scooters or bicycles. Also love love the long battery life (60+minutes) compared to other kid scooters which only have 40 minutes.

Great scooter!
26 August 2022

Great little scooter. My son is 8, about 100lbs, and can go steady for at least 90 mins on this. Probably longer but we haven’t had the chance to keep going until the battery dies. It can go pretty fast for a kid. 15-18 km/h. Easy to charge. I just wish the bottom wasn’t quite as bulky. Under the scooter is the battery and motor incased in plastic, so it adds a bunch of bulk to the otherwise slim scooter. But still easy enough to transport, and bring in the house. Not great on loose gravel,or small stone. Needs a compacted dirt road, paved, concrete, or another hard flat surface. But overall this was a great buy!!!!!!

Plenty of Space

What can I say, the Razor - Power Core E100 Electric Scooter is "Awesome"! It came with an Aluminum Deck which has plenty of space on it plus it looks cool! Make sure you read the Manual, which came with the Razor, it has valuable information that will help you. Then use the enclosed charger and plug it into the Razor Scooter. When charged, make sure you become familiar with your Razor Scooter as this will help in your performance and help detour accidents. So if you are looking for a Holiday/Birthday gift then the Razor - Power Core E100 Electric Scooter might be the answer!! I Definitely know what my Family is getting for the Holidays!!

Pretty good scooter for Kids. NOT TEENS
29 September 2022

The problem with this scooter is that the battery health runs out very fast. After bout 2 years the scooter is completely dead and can only run with 5 minutes on a single 12 hour charge. Also the max speed is around 7-8 MPH. Definitely not 10 MPH. One good thing to mention is that in the beginning the scooter is amazing with a very long battery life and great for kids. The reason i gave it 3 stars is because the lights are also very fun and bright. Also compared to other kid scooters on the market I would recommend this scooter although it isn't that good. i would give it a 7/10

Received Defective Product - Denied Return
