This is a review on only the pink miracle powder sponge. I like it but I don’t love it. The shape is fine, and it’s affordable. The texture is similar to peach-fuzz. I don’t think it’s a necessary tool for powder or for baking. The sponge stains VERY easily. If you keep it in your makeup bag, it’s bound to get foundation, eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner etc. stains on it that’s very hard to remove. The sponge in the photo has been cleaned and washed and still has heavy stains.

Amazing sponges.

Both these sponges are amazing on applying makeup. I have used many other sponges before but these blow them all away. Both sponges are the perfect size for my hands and they are easy to hold on too/use to apply makeup. The blend+conceal sponge is amazing for both liquid and cream foundation. I also use it to apply my concealer, you can use it both damp and dry for whatever matte/dewy look you want for your foundation. It applies my foundation amazing, blends it out extremely well, and it so easy to apply the foundation. Way better than using brushes. It is shaped perfectly so you can reach in all the hard to reach spots (around the nose, corners of my eyes by my nose, etc).The miracle powder sponge is great for many different things. Excellent quality!

I received the Complexion Sponge + Miracle Powder Sponge a few weeks ago, and I am loving both! I've used the miracle complexion sponge in the past, and I love it just as much now as I did then. It works well both damp or dry, I prefer it damp. The complexion sponge gets much bigger when you wet it, which really helps with a faster application if foundation. I use it to apply foundation all over my face, it's quick, easy and doesn't leave any foundation streaks! It's just as good as high end sponges. The Miracle Powder Sponge is new to me, it's great for using to set my loose powder. It really helps eliminate creases when using it with powder, but throughout the day with whatever powder is left on the sponge, I use for touch-ups. Good value for the price

This review was NOT collected as part of a promotion, unlike many of the others here. I have used these sponges and I have also used the much more expensive version. I think these are just fine. They feel pretty much exactly the same as the name brand ones and produce the same results. I do agree with other reviewers who have said they fall apart more quickly. I replace this kind of thing frequently though to prevent bacteria buildup, so it doesn’t matter much to me that they don’t last as long. Definitely worth the money saved in my opinion.

Great for Powders

This sponge is great for the intended use with powder makeups. I love that this sponge gives me great coverage with my powder makeups than ever before. I usually use a brush, fingertips, or the puff but this sponge is the only thing I will use for ongoing. The sponge gives me more of a precise coverage and blends blush great as well as my powder bronzer, setting powder, powder highlighter, and my powder foundation I like to use more than my liquid. I also use it for blending my eyes at times. The sponge keeps the powder on it from application to the sponge to application to your face. Unlike brushes that get the powder everywhere and leaves hairs on your face. You can use this sponge for a matte or satin finish just by wetting the sponge. Great value for both powder and foundation

The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is a legend for good reason. It is so soft and bouncy when damp and it applies foundation so seamlessly. I love the angled end and the pointy tip for reaching all areas of the face. I typically wet it in the sink until it grows in size and then squeeze all the excess water out and give it a final sqeeze in a towel so it's not too wet. When used damp, it gives such a perfect skin-like finish. If I'm in a rush, I'll apply foundation with my fingers and then go over it with the damp or dry sponge to press everything into my skin and remove any streaks. I've repurchased this sponge for years. The Miracle Powder Sponge is new to me and I was curious to try its velvety texture. It says it can also be used wet or dry. I've found The One!

The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge cost less, more readily available, and does the job better than any of the others, including the Really Expensive One! The material, when damp, doesn't soak up too much product, and when dry, isn't hard as a rock. It blends liquid quickly and like a dream. (I didn't try it with cream products.)The Miracle Powder sponge intrigued me, and I love this one, too! I love the convenience of powder foundation, but have never found an application method I like until now. Soaks up product

I haven't use sponge applicators for foundation for decades. I've been using my fingers which is messy. I decided to try these based on shape and I do like the easy management and contouring. However, when using the same amount of product as with my fingers i don't get coverage. Most of it absorbs into the sponge so I have to finish with my fingers anyway. I'll continue to try and perhaps once saturated it will provide better coverage. If not, back to fingers and messy towels.

The powder sponge works, but I have some caveats.

I think by now, we all know and love the Miracle Complexion Sponge, so I don't need to say much other than it's my favorite beauty sponge. I was really mostly curious, then, about the Miracle Powder Sponge. I wish that flocked sponges were as popular now as they were when I was younger, because they leave the skin with an airbrushed look. This worked fine enough, but I have two huge wishes. One, that it wasn't shaped like the Miracle Complexion Sponge, and was flatter - I loved flocked sponges with powder foundation and this isn't a good shape for smoothing over the skin in wide strokes. The other wish is that the flocking was more...flocked. It was fine to spot use, but it took extra time that using a brush or a flatter sponge would not (also, I prefer to powder my whole face, not just some spots). However I would recommend it still, despite my caveats, to anyone wanting to try a sponge for powder application - especially since it comes with the Complexion Sponge. It's an inexpensive and effective enough way to try out using a sponge for powder application.

I had not tried a sponge for applying my foundation etc before but I love how easy these are to use.The powder sponge is especially great@ I have a powder foundation that I stopped using because it looked - cakey on me. Just could not get it to 'stick' to my face.Using the powder sponge, i dampened it, dipped it,into the powder foundation,an pounced it on. The shape of the sponge helped me get into those harder to get to areas like sides of nose, inner corner of eyes, and press the foundation on. The rounder part of the sponge was great for blending the foundation and then adding some blush.I love the fresh, natural look it allowed me to get.I used the miracle complexion sponge to apply a cream foundation and blush.
