These boxes were better than most that I have recently purchased in height. They work fine for the storage of the cheap cases for cassette tapes or storing cassettes minus the case. I had hoped that they would work for my cassette tapes that have the wider case. That only works if I turn them sideways. Not ideal, but the best I have found thus far.

This "Really Useful Box" is great quality. I often buy them for storage and they're always perfect for the job. It looks like Hobbycraft aren't stocking them anymore, which is a shame.
I bought these boxes to store some phonics cards in for work rather than craft however they are extremely sturdy and the perfect size for what I needed! The clasps on the lid are secure and I love that they're transparent so I can still see what's in each box.I think I need some more so will definitely be buying them again.
Really Useful Boxes use superior, established structural design for stability and durability. The latches are easy to use and even have holes in some sizes if you need to secure them closed. I have many of these in a variety of sizes. I've seen some less expensive imitations of this brand, but wouldn't buy them because the structural design is wrong. I especially appreciate the smaller sizes, since I do need them for some items. Years ago I bought some boxes from a respected manufacturer which are similarly strong, but have no latches; I haven't seen them lately. This isn't the only brand of plastic storage box I use, but when I need it, RUBs are indispensable.
These boxes are great: good quality, excellent variety of sizes, easy to use and label, easy to clean when necessary. I have and use dozens of them in assorted sizes in my business office, for hobby work, in the garage/workshop and in the home. Unfortunately, these boxes are GROSSLY overpriced at Office Depot and I have to wait for them to be on sale and/or to purchase with Bonus Points. You would sell a lot more if you would just cut the everyday price by 25-30%.
This sturdy box is ideal for storing my oil paints. Both the large and small paints fit inside perfectly. There are excellent clips on the sides so the paint tubes cannot fall out while the box is in transit. Should any paint get on the box it is very easy to clean.I am delighted with my new storage box.
I have bought over the years over 2 dozen of various sizes from my local ASDA store, not relizing it would of been cheaper online. Really Useful product to store litrely anything, they have 2 air holes at each end near the handles so they are not waterproof, when not in use depending on the sizes you have they can fit inside each other box, great pity more sizes are not available in store or online,some sizes online are at a sale price so now is a great time to buy several for yourself or as gifts,unlike other copycat boxes you can get replacement handles if needed.
This is a nice and sturdy storage box with lots of size options and stackable. But 2 improvements can make them a 5-stars item; more heavy duty latching handle, current small hinge design breaks off over time. Second if it had a o-ring that could make water tight, that would be great.
