A really useful storage box, with a great secure click on lid. Collected from our local store, where we also managed to pickup a 65L box that my husband used his electric jigsaw to cut a doorway into one end which he used gaffer tape to stick over the rough edges, inorder to turn the box into a rain proof feeding shelter for our many hedgehogs that visit each night to feed on calciworms mixed with wet dog food. The wildlife charity rspb gave us this idea because it has rained so much that the hedgehogs food was getting soaked.

I was looking for a compact file box because I find the standard file boxes too heavy when full. This item fits a smaller stack of files than a standard file box. But it takes up just as much space because there is wasted space inside the box on four sides: one inch on the top, one inch at the front, one inch at the back, and half an inch on the bottom.

I have lost count of how many of these boxes I own. I can see 20 right now but there are far more in my craft room and also organising scarves etc. in my wardrobe. Each is labled with contents to make searching simple, but yes, I play in my craftroom all the time and over 30 years have aquired a lot of tools and substrates. The boxes keep your items in, and whilst not airtight, they do keep items fresh and clean, ready for use. They stack like a dream and I use them to keep travel items in so they are to hand in one place, chargers and leads together etc etc. A4 is perfect in these 9 litre boxes as there is plenty of room to get your hand in without damaging your stash. I could not imagine life without them.
