The boxes themselves are excellent but Asda package them so poorly that 80% arrive with either broken lids or broken handles. A plastic bag for transit, even one with 'fragile' tape added to it does not constitute adequate packaging. After 4 deliveries and still receiving broken goods I gave up trying to get replacements. The boxes are a good size and the locking handles are helpful as the boxes are for the loft, the clear sides mean you can easily identify what is in the box. Buy them, they are good, just choose a different retailer than Asda!

These sturdy stackable boxes are fantastic for a house move. The clear sides allow easy identification of the contents. The size is great for packing lots of stuff into each one. The handles securely clip the lid to the box and I was able to stack them six high in the back of a box van. I have quite a number of these boxes and some were damaged in transit (Asda were great at replacing them without asking). It is possible to buy replacement handles and lids online if required so they can be used long term. The only minor downside is that they don’t fit inside one another for storage so take up a lot of space.

The box is great. Very sturdy and the clips on the lid ensure it's airtight. Great size to fit under the bed. However it came poorly packaged - literally wrapped in cling film and not surprisingly it was broken. I asked for a replacement which arrived a few days later and this one was also damaged. On the third attempt I received a box which was undamaged! Homebase - you need to package more robustly not just wrapped in cling film

I've bought three of these boxes in this size. I use the boxes (in this size, ones smaller, and ones bigger) for my camping gear and supplies, as well as around the house. The ones in this size contain, respectively, spare batteries, my cellular telephone and its accessories, and miscellaneous small electrical things. They are sturdy, have lids that come off easily, but lock closed easily, too. I like the way that they stack onto others of the same size, nearly seeming to lock together. They really are useful, just as their name says they are. (The smallest I use are the tiny 0.14-liter size, which is perfect for packets of artificial sweetener, and the biggest I use are of the 35-liter size, for holding tools and firewood, respectively.)
I love these boxes. There are so many different depths, lengths and widths to choose from and I like the blue secure handles on them. They stack so well too without fear of them toppling over. I use them for just about everything from storing clothing to Christmas decorations to CD and DVD's and because they are clear plastic you can immediately see what they contain. Homebase delivered quickly and they were the most competitive price of all.
Extremely durable and rigid, the quality of these boxes is exceptional, considering how few parts make up the product. Unmatched at the price point. The stackability across the sizes is fantastic; as long as you match one dimension of the boxes you want to stack, they will “lock” into the recessed lip on the box below. The transparency of the plastic is excellent, eliminating having to peel off lid after lid and dig through multiple contents looking for something. They’re the only boxes I bother with.
Exactly what I was looking for. Strong, sturdy, storage. Having the clip handles ensures the lid remains securely closed. Added bonus is that the boxes stack firmly together due to the design of the lid. Good value for money and think the storage will be a long term investment rather than cheaper versions having to be replaced regularly. I will be purchasing more Really Useful storage in the future.

I have dozens of these storage containers in multiple sizes. These boxes are sturdy but can become brittle at temperatures below the freezing point and will be damaged if dropped. Other than that, they are perfect for so many uses! They stack securely and work well in environments where the contents need to be protected from moisture or pests. I even tried standing on one to see if it would collapse. It passed the test.
I've been having a clearout of my flat and sorting things out into rubbish, recycling, charity, ebay and basement. I bought a number of these >>Really Useful<< boxes for storing away things for long term storage which I put into my basement storeroom. This space is quite damp and so books in particular wouldnt survive being stored in cardboard boxes here. The boxes from the Really Useful firm are ideal - they are very robust and solid made, come in many sizes and the seal should protect books from the damp. Ordering the products via Robert Dyas has been really good too. When I've had to return/exchange an item the staff at the shops have been really helpful. This is another reason why I would recommend purchasing from Robert Dyas.
