The last thing these `Pop Out' fire lighting cubes could be accused of would be `popping out' (of the packaging).I near break my thumb trying to get one out!!

Disappointed. Too hard to remove from packaging

I buy between 40 and 60 packs of firelighters per winter. Always bought Redheads in the past, but the current packaging is way to messy, and hurts my fingers to remove. Much easier to buy and use home brand firelighters from Woolies of Coles. Makes such a mess now, even when using a knife to open, that we need to get the vacuum out to clean the mess where we try to remove each fire lighter from its packaging. We have 3 open fires at home as we live in Melbourne, and it has become very frustrating to remove the fire lighter from its packaging, so we have given up and moved on to a new brand. Very disappointed.

Fascinatingly terrible

I have a pot-belly stove in my house. Tonight I watched a Redhead firelighter sit in the middle of a flame (being created by the newspaper underneath it) completely impervious to its surroundings. I reached in and grabbed it. Lit the thing myself with a lighter then tossed it back into the fire, but the flames went out mid-air. Then sat back in the fire again. It was the only thing in the stove that wasn't on fire. I was amazed. Somehow the company have created the OPPOSITE THING to what they set out to make. These things are FLAME RETARDANT. What???!!?!

Needs work
10 June 2017

I have been using this product for a little while hoping that it would improve but it hasn't so have switched to wrapped Bic Firelighters and am very pleased with their product. The firelighters often have large airbubbles in the mix so when set there is about a quater of the quanity in the box. This is not we the consumer pays for. You need to fix this problem.

Never again
20 July 2017

I bought redheads Firelighters because they were on special. They are usually too expensive. I don't know why when they are such a dreadful product. Almost impossible to remove from the package then almost impossible to light. I will stick to the cheaper ones which work 100% better.

Shocking packaging
7 July 2017

Never again redhead your sacked going samba from now on, so hard to pop out of packet makes a horrible mess everywhere woke up my children from its noise trying to keep fire alight along with my curses from this rubbish product from Redhead they need to lift their game or else consumers will resort to other brand products that are more convenient and user friendly
