Anyone looking for a budget light saltwater rod ideal for Bass and Mullet which is not out of place on the lake or river this is it .I wanted a fighting butt to help support my wrist when fighting a hard running fish.
The rod is very nice I love the color of it it cast really great
I broke the tip off my Recon and had to send it back to Orvis to have it repaired. Its hopper season and I didnt want to be without a 6 wt rod. I bought this Rod because of the price point mostly. I was amazed it casts so well, the accuracy is very good and distance is there when you need it. It double hauls smoothly, great buy, very happy with this purchase.
