I purchased the Redken all soft mega shampoo, conditioner, mask the leave in hydra melt because I thought it would be a more affordable option of moisturizing strengthening than what I was using at the time. I have medium/thick density coarse straight hair that was previously color treated/lightened but it was overall in great condition due to the products I was using how I cared for my hair. I used half of the whole all soft mega line before I noticed it made my hair was feeling really dry, dull brittle I was suddenly getting breakage. Caused damage to my hair

I bought the two big bottles a few months ago. I used it every other day and I noticed every time I used it my hair was falling out in CLUMPS! It caused my hair to be extremely dry and tangle, because it would tangle it would fall out even more. 0/10 it didn't help my hair at all. In fact it made it worse. The only reason I used it for as long as I did was because i thought, "its professional". I switched shampoo and conditioner and my hair didn't fall out, it's not dry and it doesn't tangle. Never again Redken

Causing massive hairloss

So I started using this shampoo about 6 weeks ago. I first bought a little trial size loved how soft it made my hair feel. The following week I bought a big bottle. Shortly after that I noticed that my hair was falling out. When I say falling out I mean falling out. My scalp was burning itching and it was tender to touch. I went to see a dermatologist they told me I had Telogen effluvium. They assumed that was caused by me having Covid in January ( mild case) after having three kids surgery never ever did I lose hair. I decided to discontinue using this product and the burning and soreness in my scalp went away almost immediately. Still a little itchy at times but I'm losing way less hair now. I keep coming back to it!

I've tried everything on my hair. I have 2c-3a curls, very fine individual hairs, but an absolute TON of it. This results in extremely tangled, frizzy hair that takes forever to manage. But not with All Soft! I used it religiously when I was in my late teens and early twenties, but eventually got bored and started trying new stuff. I never could quite get that softness back with anything else, but chalked it up to hormones from having babies and living in weird climates. Recently, I started struggling with new coarser hairs (I'm 37 and starting to see some gray). Those hairs were getting tangled and snapping off, which hurts like crazy and makes my hair look like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet. Frustrated and frizzy and honestly ready to shave my head, I went back to my old friend All Soft (and leveled up to the Mega version), and washing my hair is pleasant again! The comb goes through like butter, and my hair feels soft and pliable. Hallelujah!

Loved it.. At first.

I was using Pureology before purchasing this. Pureology worked wonderfully, but it's a tad expensive. I decided to switch to this based on reviews, and the price. The first time I used it, my hair felt awesome. I was stoked. The scent is really nice too. I noticed probably around the 3rd or 4th time of using this shampoo and conditioner that it wasn't making my hair as soft.. When I would rinse out the shampoo, my hair felt like straw. The conditioner didn't help it much either. When my hair would dry it did have minimal frizz, but not in a good way. it was very flat. My hair started to look dull and feel gross on the ends. No leave-in conditioner needed!

I've been seeing a lot of positive reviews on this conditioner so I bought it during the sale. My hair has a balayage and it's curly. It's been soo dry and gets tangled after the shower no matter how much detangling spray I use. I have also been shedding a lot more hair than usual from stress and there's nothing worse than brushing your hair and seeing clumps of hair in your brush. After one use of this, I was so amazed with the results. One swipe and my brush went through my hair tangle free. I usually have to pile on products after my shower to add moisture but turns out all I needed was a better conditioner. My hair is soo soft and smooth. There is also no frizz. I will continue to use this and probably go buy the shampoo as well since it's so good.

Not good

I used redken all soft and redken mega all soft and I have to say they both don't work nor do they smell well which I usually don't care too much about smell if it actually works. But this conditioner is awful. I would not recommend. It has a werid musky smell not a fan and the original smells like chemicals. Anyway now on to the important part. Neither of these conditioners detangled or softened my hair to any degree maybe if you used a whole handful and drenched your hair in it but even then I doubt it. It does not do what it claims to do. If anything I felt it left my hair in worse condition I've had cheap conditioners do a better job. Also it doesn't rinse well from your hair it's so awful! Save your money don't waste it on this trash.

Postpartum scary hair

I had my baby 14 months ago and almost immediately after birth my hair died and I mean DIED. My hair became extremely brittle, unmanageable, dry, constantly getting knotted. Hormone hair is the worst... I tried many well known name brand products, spent $100s but this is the first product that has made a difference right from the start. I washed my hair twice in one day with this product and the first time my hair felt dry and corse after rinsing.. but the second wash I could feel the difference. My hair air dried perfectly, very little frizz from my breakage, hair feels soft, hydrated and has some good bounce to my once curly hair! I look forward to my hair transformation a few months from now!

Smells great and makes my hair soft.

My hair feels sooo soft after using this, even without using a hair dryer! I paired this with the all soft Redken shampoo. Not sure if the all soft and mega soft line smells different but this conditioner smells like a cookie! I am a huge fan of sweet scents and it made my hair smell so nice. It is on the pricey side but I think it's a great product overall. Before using this I always had super knotty hair and it was so dry, but now my hair has never felt better.
