Just got this the other day from my hairstylist and I’m in love already! It smells great, my hair feels like silk after using it. It has a little brush at the end of the tube which I find a little gimmicky but I get where they were going with it. I just pump it out onto my hand instead and rub it through my ends first then take what’s left and comb my fingers through the rest of my hair. Can already see and feel the difference it’s making on my hair. My ends look so much better and healthier, I’m very impressed by this product, but also not surprised because Redken products are always amazing. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who’s having problems with breakage/split ends.

I have fine/dry hair and I recently had my hair done. I love the sombre affect but of course when lightening hair it can cause more drying and breakage. My Hairdresser recommended this product so I thought I would give it a try. I also purchased the primer. Oh my goodness I just have to say that I love this product. I use it mostly on my ends and a little throughout the rest of my hair. It leaves my hair soft, smooth and stronger. I love the packaging the brush is so convenient and easy to use. I bought this thinking it will make my hair somewhat softer and nicer but to be honest they just turned very dry and brittle. I tried it multiple times with different amount of product thinking that i maybe used too much or too little but after every time i got more and more disappointed. I have shampoo and conditioner from the same line and they work wonders, but the sealer itself is a no from me. It does smell amazing, the only good thing from this. I will give away my bottle to my sister, maybe it will work better on her

This could be a holy grail product for some people if used correctly. I’m obsessed with it. I use it very very sparingly but I’m conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner. Absolutely worth it. Use no higher than mid shaft to avoid the scalp area.

Great product, but terrible applicator

I am a big fan of Redken products and bought this to use in conduction with the primer to help my color-treated hair from breaking. This product smells great, and seems to be effective...if you can get it out of the bottle and onto your hair. The bottle seems relatively small, but a little (pea size amount for my shoulder length thick hair) goes a long way. If you put too much, it can weigh your hair down and feel sticky/greasy. That said, I have no idea why Redken chose to but a brush on the end of this bottle to apply it to your hair. I tried to use it, but it just clumped up in one spot in my hair and left it sticky and matted looking. Great product. Not great applicator.

I did not look at the applicator prior to purchasing, and probably wouldnt have bought it if I had. It is pointless and looks like it will just waste the product $. I also rarely wash my hair so that must be carrying around tons of dirt.After I took a pair of scissors to those bristles, I now love this product! You dont need a large amount to cover your ends. It instantly left my hair feeling much healthier. I bleach and style my hair frequently so there is a ton of damage.I will probably try out other sealers before repurchasing, as this is the first one I've tried and I dont want to cut that brush off everytime.

Miracle worker!

My ends were fried, completely destroyed. I went through multiple products until I came across this product. It's a miracle worker, I didn't think there ever would be a product out there that could undo the damage I've caused to my poor hair, I've only used this product 4 times in a week and I immediately noticed improvements after the first use, by my 4th use I could see a completely different look. My hair looked healthy again and I felt more confident. The only thing I will say that I wasn't happy with was how much it cost and how little the tube really is, but I use a little squirt of product so a little bit goes a long way, you don't need much! I read the reviews before buying, so I knew beforehand the applicator was not exactly the best. For the life of me, I can't understand why they would make it this way because I don't think anyone is actually going to take the time to use that tiny brush to do all their hair in little sections at a time.That being said, my usual Nexxus ProMend is no longer available, so I grabbed up several other split end treatments in an attempt to find a suitable replacement. This one was the best I've tried. It is quite thick but you don't need a lot of it to do the job unless you have very long, thick hair. I squeeze some into my hand apply it to my damp ends, using a fine tooth comb to smooth everything out. WOW! This stuff really works!

After reading the rave reviews on this product, I recently stopped into an Ulta store and purchased this item. I have only been using it 3 days and I must say I am amazed by the difference I can already see in my hair. I have a lot of breakage from highlighting and using heat tools regularly. So much so, that when I blow dry my hair, little pieces break off and fly everywhere. Since I have started using this product, I have seen a very minimal amount of hair fly off during blow drying.I put it on towel dried hair using my fingers instead of the applicator brush, and follow up with my favorite heat protector before drying. (I did not purchase the primer) I am very impressed with how smooth my hair looks and feels.
