I love [brand:redken]’s Extreme Playsafe it’s worth the price. This is a wonderful value in my opinion because you don’t need much , it last for a long time, and it’s a heat protectant for up to 450 degrees, it’s a color protectant it’s a leave in conditioner all in one. You can’t beat that! My hair was damaged and so frizzy before using and 6 mths later my hair is so soft , shiny , manageable keeps my color looking amazing thanks to [brand:redken]! I have fine straight hair, I’m 42 I’d recommend this to anyone who uses heat and likes not only heat color protection but a leave in conditioner! This lotion type feeling consistency is so nice and luxurious and I love the scent. So please do your hair a favor get you this.

I have been loving the , it very hydrating and nourishing without being to heavy and weighing your hair down. It’s got a gel like consistency and you I don’t need much to work through my long dry curly/ wavy hair. This is a very good oil to use on the days you want to refresh your hair as it’s very smoothing and helped to get rid of my flyaways. If you’re doing the curly girl method I wouldn’t recommend this product as the third ingredient long is dimethicone but if silicones aren’t in issue I would definitely recommend given this oil ago. It doesn’t have a strong scent which is nice as I don’t like anything too overpowering in a hair product. Argan oil is the fourth ingredient along so you get quite a high concentrate of it in this oil. Hair wash day is a good day where hair feels amazing and we wish it could last forever. But all good things must come to an end... by day 4 my hair reforms back to dry ends and greasy roots. For me... This is where this glorious argan oil steps in, applying this product feels as though it giving my dry and brittle ends CPR! I never thought I could have soft and silky hair on hair wash day that could be maintained through out the week. If you're still reading, it may be because like me, you feel a little bit at a loss with your dry hair and are searching for the dream oil. I have tried many hair oils in my time including coconut oil which I can confirm does not penetrate the hair follicles like argan oil. It just makes it feel good on the outside. OIL is a major part of the hair care routine especially for those struggling with dry and damaged hair. Take advise from someone who has wasted money on a inexpensive coconut oil for the past 5 years that spending that bit extra on pure argan oil is worth every penny for the results you want. Might I add a little goes a long way, so this is something that stays in your hair care draw for a good few months before needing to restock! P.S In Redken we trust! Excellent for fine, damaged hair

I have mid-back, bleached, high-porosity hair and most styling products give me disappointing results; Extreme Play Safe is the exceptional product for me!I start by using my Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler Spray as a leave-in; then I apply a quarter-sized blob of the Redken Extreme Play Safe on my lengths, and lastly I add a tiny extra amount of Redken Extreme Play Safe concentrating just on the ends. The product is very concentrated, and you only need a little bit for a great result; if your hair is sticky that means you've applied too much. My ends are healthy-looking and my lengths have body and feel clean and smooth without feeling weighed down.I also love that it has protein! my damaged hair needs all the protein it can get. If you have long fine hair that's colored and/or highlighted and has damage you need to check out this protective styling product, you won't be sorry!! It does a great job of protecting your lengths from damage caused by blow-drying and other heat tools.

Fav hair product!

Ok so I have long hair (past my butt) and this hair product definitely helps tame the frizz and overall, just does a great job at smoothing my hair. I usually style my hair 1-2x a week and this has definitely made a difference! My hair isn't burnt/fried and it's just a great leave-in conditioner overall. It's pricey but I definitely believe it's worth it! I always get compliments on how my hair smells because of this so that's definitely a plus! :)

Favorite Heat Protectant

I've just finished my first bottle and I will be repurchasing. A little goes a long way with this product. The perfect amount for my thic, medium length hair is one full pump. If too much is applied, your hair will easily feel greasy and heavy. I apply while my hair is damp, then blowdry and style. When I don't use this product, my hair feels dry, brittle, and staticky. I can't live without it now.

My long hair is very damaged from bleaching, but this product leaves it soft, silky and healthy after blow-drying. It's a must-have if your hair is damaged with split ends!It has tourmaline and 3 different types of protein. Be mindful of this if you also use other products that have protein, you don't want to cause protein overload in your hair (advice from my hairstylist). So if it doesn't work for you, that might be why.Otherwise it has greatly helped make my hair look healthy again. I use just a quarter-sized amount for my whole head, keeping it on the lengths and ends. Don't use this at the roots or your hair will be flat! One bottle lasts me a very long time, using it twice a week.

The BEST heat protectant for fine hair

I never leave reviews, but I had to for this product! For years, I've been using a similar lotion based heat protectant for my fine hair. (Sprays have never really helped to protect my hair while blow drying and styling, so I've found that lotions work MUCH better!) My other brand has been hard to order through Ulta, frequently out of stock. I found this and bought it to use in the meantime until my normal brand was back in stock. However, I'm NEVER going back to that brand! This is so much better, and helped to control my frizz as well. My hair feels soft and straightened much easier than when using my other brand. I'm amazed at how much better this worked! Please keep selling this product!

The perfect heat protectant

Wonderful product! It makes it much easier to style my hair and leaves it feeling softer then most other products ever have. Once it dries completely it doesn't leave any residue or make my hair feel stiff. I also haven't had any problems with brittle hair or split ends since I've been using this. Pair it with a good shampoo and conditioner and it leaves your hair looking perfect!! The only downside is it doesn't keep my hair from curling when I get in humid conditions, which I didn't really expect to happen but you can always hope!

love REDKEN but not this!!

had high hopes for this product! I've never bought a redken product that dissatisfied me until now! Made my hair icky rough and extremely dry and brittle feeling! it felt gross to the touch, even after blow drying it. the way it made my hair feel I knew it caused damage! even gave it another try a few days later in case it was something i did, or if i used too much but nope same exact thing occurred! I feel like maybe i got a bad batch of it, i hope that's the case! will be returning today!
