The color didn’t even match me I looked like a ghost. And I feel like ever since I left a bad review about that I haven’t gotten any opt in emails since then. Anybody else??

I have thick, frizzy hair. I used this product after getting the recommendation from my hairdresser. It helped stop frizz, however it also weighed my hair down a TON. I can typically go a few days without washing but after using this product I felt my hair getting oily very quickly. It does it's job, but overall I stopped using it because of the negative effects it had on my hair.

I purchased this product last year while the company was having a sale. I never tried Redken products before and read good reviews on it so I decided to give it a try. I noticed right off the bat it smelled like a clean and fresh perfume. I am a big fan of scented hair products so it was a plus for me. As I lathered it into my hair, it foamed up pretty well and seemed to give it a good clean. After I had dried my hair, I noticed my hair appeared more shiny and soft. I had actually stopped using this product only because of it’s lasting power. I don’t wash my hair everyday, I normally like to wash it every two to three days and I noticed the next day, my hair looked as if I hadn’t washed it for three days. My roots were so greasy. Yes, dry shampoo can help with that, but I didn’t want to have to drown my hair in product the very next day after washing it the day before. Overall, I liked this shampoo for the frizz control, but if I would have been able to go a couple more days without it looking like I had to wash it the next day, I would keep using it.

I have fine thin hair that is straight, but looks a bit messy/frizzy sometimes. Frizz Dismiss shampoo and conditioner had been my go to for the last 2 years now. I like to air dry my hair, and these products help keep my hair shiny and smooth without styling!! So thats obviously a huge win win for me. The scent is mild and nice. No greasy residue and does not cause my my hair to be limp/flat at the crown. My only complaint is that the bottle are a very hard plastic, so its hard to squeeze out. Hoping they’ll change that in the future.

I’ve been using kerastase and thought I’d mix it up. This set is just wow!!! Not only is it big bottles so value for money. It leaves my hair feeling fantastic!!! The conditioner is beautifully thick so it feels like a mask. And it doesn’t weigh your hair down which is great. Smells beautiful too. Salon worthy hair?!!! Oh definitely yesss!

Hair has never felt so soft in years

I brought this shampoo solely to take my frizz but to my surprise it has also made my hair feel very soft. I have used this in conjunction with the leave in treatment and have not been blow drying my hair and instead leaving it to air dry. The products also have a very nice smell. I do not sue any other Products along side these

I’ve always liked Redken products, but this shampoo and conditioner duo is one of the best. A little goes along way with the shampoo. The conditioner is such a beautiful thick consistency. Feels like a hair mask. It smells amazing and you feel like your hair has been spoiled I’ll definitely buy this again.

New fave

I tried the all soft line which left my hair feels like it was coated in something ended up giving it away. Ordered this and didn't have high hoped but I was extremely surprised. Tames 90% of my frizz I have naturally curly/wavy hair the smell is nice and long lasting. May try the serum from this line

Not as advertised

I purchased thinking it was just new packaging. I don’t use shampoos with sulfates and I noted - ‘Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo is anti-frizz shampoo with a gentle, sulfate & sodium chloride free formula’. I have purchased frizz dismiss previously. I noticed the difference as soon as I used shampoo as it foamed a lot. Near top of ingredients is a sulfate. Ingredients - Aqua/Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate. So a sulfate free shampoo has sulfate as 2nd main ingredient. Advertised as ‘new look, same great formula’. Not a happy customer!

As infuriatingly happens every few years or so, my favourite brand, Wella Professionals in this case, has revamped and so beginneth the endless task of finding new hair products that not only calm my frizz but smell nice too. I normally go round surreptitiously sniffing bottles in various shops. However, that's not really possible during a global pandemic, so I had no choice other than to trust the reviewers on here. Expensive mistake. I actually bought 2 different bottles, the anti frizz one and the golden brown bottle that says it makes your hair soft. When other reviewers mentioned difficulty getting this stuff out of the bottle I presumed, stupidly as it turns out, they meant when the product neared the bottom. Not actually from the get-go. Not only can't I get it out of the weeny hole in the lid, but the lid actually doesn't come off so I can't add water to thin it out a bit. The red bottle and the golden bottle smell pretty much identical. I find it cloying and sickly, though I have smelt worse. They both do identical things to my hair too and the one star above is because, yes, they do actually keep the frizz at bay when I'm out and about in the wind. So, if you don't mind a slightly cloying smell and have metal hands this will suit you just fine. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
