I have been wearing these for about 2 weeks now. Not much of a break in period which is great. Definitely geared more toward lifting than running, but definitely possible to do short (couple mile) runs in. I feel the shoes are sturdy and offer stability while I am lifting and enough cushion to support while walking or just wearing out and about. The toe box is also pretty wide which works super well for me. I also really like the style. I got the black and grey ones and they are definitely my least uncool sneakers.

I purchased these (and the Cobalt Blue) Nano X3 specifically for training at my local gyms. I had been wearing an elevated running shoe. The Nano is be far the better shoe for me at the fitness center. I feel more grounded or connected with the floor, important to me when lifting or exercising. I'm 6'6" and weigh 270 lbs. and a very active older person. These sneaks are specific and not knock arounds, at least to me. I bought what I wanted and got what I bought. Surprisingly, I have a little extra toe room in my size 15's.

These shoes are super cute. Bought the white with yellow and orange and get compliments all the time. I like that they're light and find the toe box is not small. However, I do feel it runs a little small for size lengthwise. My toes lightly touch the front of the shoe, maybe I should have gone up a half size. I also feel as if my feet slide around a little too much in the shoe. I teach group fitness, cardio and strength, and they do pretty well for both, outside of the sliding around. #sweepstakes

This is my 4th generation of nanos I have owned. I thought I could depend on Reebok's nanos to have a good size toe box. I really wanted the all white one so I accepted the higher price thinking it would be worth their usual quality. Unfortunately, they let me down. It's a good 1/2 inch narrower then my last generation (black in the photo)! You can see the difference with the black shoe under the white where they are lined up flush on one side. Since the toe box size is a make or break for training shoes, I won't be wearing these to train. I wore them outside already and in the gym to try them out so I won't be returning them but I also will only wear these casually if my feet can tolerate them. It's sad that shoe brands are going for looks over quality. News flash, comfort and health of our feet are in. Stop pushing narrow shoes down our throats. Anyhow, I tried to spoke with customer service. All they did was push an exchange for a bigger size on me, which I politely explained why that wasn't going to work for me and asked more than once what the toe box size was and if the women's or men's were any different then the unisex I purchased. Eventually, they said they would look into it and I should expect an email from them personally in 48 hours. That was a few weeks ago now and no email. This will be my last Reebok shoe I'll be buying it seems.
The look has a definitely changed, the heal feels great but one thing you might have noticed is the "all gender" shoe sizing. I'm a 10.5 traditionally in every nano since the beginning. I went with these because the Nike always ran too narrow and the nanos had a great toe box which made them perfect for lifts allowing your toes to expand. The upper felt great on the instep and top of the toe area.**** IF YOURE EXPECTING THE SAME INSTEP AND TOE BOX ON THESE YOU WILL BE FINDING YOURSELF IN A MORE SNUG SITUATION. My foot is in between and D and DD width size which made the 10.5 great for me, I had to size up a half size to make these work and they still feel a little too snug. Definitely a huge change as I haven't considered another brand of shoes because the nanos ... MoreThe look has a definitely changed, the heal feels great but one thing you might have noticed is the "all gender" shoe sizing. Definitely a huge change as I haven't considered another brand of shoes because the nanos have reliably fit me and stayed consistent but the x3's are making me think about trying TYR brand which I know have a wider toe box. I hope they are able to figure out the proper solution to sizing and overall fit issue because these may possibly be the last nanos I purchase until they do.I will say this, they look awesome design wise, I got the black and gum colored bottoms. They have a great fit on the heal and the material on the tung of the shoe is very confortable. The quality is there however the toe box area is a huge shift from previous models and may not be right for people who have chosen this shoe isn't the past for the slightly wider toe box and non flexable materials making. Also why do women have their own x3's and has the all gender shoe some how changed the way they structure the shoe? I noticed they they don't have specific ones for men and sizing that does not have female equivalent sizing in.
Fans of previous versions of the Nano please note-this is a completely different shoe altogether. The aesthetics and cushioning are great but this incarnation is missing some of the key attributes that made X, X1, and X2 so enjoyable. For me those are the wide toe-box with comfortable soft mesh and the solid heel support. In the Nano X3 if you go a half size up to give yourself more toe space you risk heel slippage in the back, and if you go with a tighter size you face blisters or injury in the front. I wear cross-trainers mostly for boxing and outdoor calisthenics so I like a more compact fit for support in lateral movement. The older Nanos were great in that you could go a half-size down and still remain injury-free in your toes due to the wide box in the front. ... MoreFans of previous versions of the Nano please note-this is a completely different shoe altogether. Faithful nano girl, using them for CrossFit. I still have my Nano 6 & 7 still in great condition. I purchased the x3 not only is the shoe design drastically changed, the toe box is way too narrow, inner sole is slippery & slides during runs & workouts. I also cannot wear them for long, they hurt my arches. My husband also states they feel stiff. & now they're falling apart. Really disappointing as someone who has been faithful to Nanos. Please go back to the old design.
I have owned many versions of the nano going back to the original. I really liked the nano 6 and nano 9.Like: Comparing the X3 to the previously mentioned models they have made some improvements such as build quality, the X3 is holding up better than my 9's. They are also a better straight weight lifting shoe as they feel very stable under foot. The cushioning on the tongue is a nice addition, and makes the shoes more comfortable.Dislikes: What happened to the foot shape ? The nano 9 was the last version I owned that had extra room for my toes to splay out. I don't like the feeling of my toes smashed into the shoe or being constricted when I'm doing movements. Maybe it is the socks I've been wearing lately but when I do a TRX workout it feels like these shoes are going to fly right off of my feet during certain moves. Please bring back the foot shaped design
I tried these on at a Flagship store in NYC because of curiosity. I had been hearing some not so favorable reviews about this shoe such as sizing too small and stiffness. In my practical observation they fit like a glove even better than the Nano X2. The toe box is more snug. The Mid foot is about the same. The heel may be a slightly roomier. The shoe did squeak a bit when i walked and jogged in place. I laughed, because it sounded like i was walking on Fall leaves crushing and sloshing though not discouraging. This was on sale at the Reebok store for less and not on the website. I will Purchase ASAP from Store.
Nano X3 (All Blue), i really love what reebok is doing in the fitness world.its a solid shoe with a decent price compared to other Brands (I have tried them all).i have tried the Speed Tr, Speed Tr 2, legacy lifters and these nano X3 are no different solid shoe, great design, color ways are great. comfy, got a wide toe box for doing the lifts you need. and fits true to size. you can use them for everyday walking or a run or CrossFit workouts. i do recommend them after some heavy workouts ill update with how they hold up, but if its like any other reebok fitness shoe they should last a long time.
