This oyster can is an easy comfort food that you can quickly feed yourself with something delicious. It can be mixed with salad, sandwich topping. Cocktail finger food. Goes wells with crackers and cheese. If you don’t have time, bang( open a can and you will get a quick dish of snack or meal. But comparatively, I still like can canned sardines better than this oysters, both because of the taste and nutritional benefits.

Great taste, quality and flavor. Sadly it uses GMO canola oil in the ingredients. Easy to open package. Drain the oil before consuming due to the GMO dangers. Otherwise, oysters are usually beneficial to health. Serving size is just right for 2 people. Used for pasta dish but would be great for a seafood platter.

(Disclaimer: I am still not sure how proper smoked oysters should be and probably have different standards than yours.)It has the richest flavor (among those canned smoked oysters I've tried) with a strong hint of sweet and savory umami taste that reminds me of Hong Kong styled "golden oysters" (semi dried oysters). The first time I bought this smoked oysters. As described on the packing, the oysters size are quite large for canned food. There was 9 pieces (about 2 inches long) tightly packed in the can. The smoked flavour is mild, not too strong but you can taste it. The seasoning is just right, not too salty. The only thing that I give a 3-star only is that the texture of the oyster is quite flaky, too soft. If you take it out with a fork, it was easily broken apart.
The product is delicious. It tastes like smoked mussels or sprats, but does not at all resemble fresh oysters. Very good to use for tapas or other snacks. Pairs with dry white wine. Quality ingredients. The packaging is convenient and easy to open. One drawback - the quantity could be more for this price.
