My husband bought me this and at first i was a little disappointed not being a GHD. My husband assured me he did his research. At first glance the packaging made me think it was going to be a crappy straightener. After reading the reviews and trying it i am absolutely blown away. It effortlessly straightened my hair in a quater of the time of my old one. It glides through the hair like silk! Anyone who wants a straightener that is better than your ghd for less than half the price this is the one.

Really great for a mid-range hair straightener. Very impressed with how quickly they heat up and are smooth gliding. Works really well on thick wavy/mid curly hair. Easy to handle. I would recommend to friends.

I love this straightener!!! After doing some research I thought I'd give this one a try, and it's great! It glides through my hair easily, remembers my heat setting, heats really quickly, has an auto shut off which is essential for me as I often forget to turn off! I just love it so far!

This is the first straightener i have purchased so i don't have anything to compare it to, however i'm very happy with my purchase. I use it to make my hair wavy. It gives my hair a nice sheen and the width of the barrel is about right for loose waves. It was also great value on sale. The only annoying thing is that the power cord tangles easily.
Purchased these for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves them. They work really well, and the ceramic plates protect the hair and swivel to keep total contact with your hair. My daughter uses them not only for straightening but also for gorgeous curls.
It’s a fantastic product when working. It glides through hair like butter. Unfortunately, mine only lasted for 1 month before it stopped working. I believe I had a faulty product as the heat setting was extremely hot even at the lowest setting. My hair is really thick and plentiful but the lowest heat was way too hot at times. I have since replaced it with another one of the exact item and this one appears to be less hot at the same lower setting. Here’s hoping this one will last much longer than the first one.
I use straighteners regularly. I am very happy with this one. I have very thick hair (it is fairly easy to manage and not curly). This straightener allows me to put a generous amount of hair through it at one time with one pass not just very small amounts.
I get great salon results with this straightener. The ceramic plates heat up quickly to an even temperature and straightening my hair takes no time as I only need to pass the straightener over my hair once for salon worthy results. I have thick hair that tends to frizz and this straightener is a godsend as it controls my hair perfectly and gives it shine and a professional look. There are cheaper hair straighteners on the market but I believe in investing in a quality one for best results. I love that this straightener turns itself off automatically as I tend to be a bit forgetful and walk off after straightening so I don’t need to worry with this. I can’t live without the Remington pro luxe straightening its amazing. Highly recommend this
I read the reviews and hoped to be able to give this product a 5/5. The heating and smooth glide , smooth finish of hair are all great features .The price was affordable But I must agree with another reviewer every time a slld the plates along my medium length hair, it did catch . I could hear the hair being dragged along to the end of each swipe .I didnt have any hair pull out as yet so I will continue to use it , but this is the one and only advice Id give to purchasers to consider. Other people have not had this problem, so perhaps its the way Im using it.
(note: I have a straighter hair type, long but not super thick) I've previously used a cheaper straightener for many years and have not really known any difference. Now having this straightener, I can really tell! It is much more effective and at a lower temp which will be better for my hair in the long run. I can straighten my long hair in around 10 mins with 2 passes each part max. I can now understand why I never bothered to use my old straightener and have really enjoyed this one so far. Curling seems to work well too! Is quite light to hold but doesn't feel to cheap, great value!
