The fatbar 35 replaced the stock bontrager bar on my TREK fuel ex. The extra width is excellent. I went with the 30mm rise although i think 40mm could be worth a try when i have some extra funds burning a hole in my pocket. I didnt know bontrager bar was a 15mm rise at the time, had i known would've went with the 40mm rise fatbar from the get go. So far though im happy with the fatbar width and extra rise also looks cool on my bike(trek kinda over did it with all the bontrager labels). Placed my order on a wednesday and had it on my doorstep friday morning in time for the weekend(free shipping). Fanatik even delivered faster than amazon. Adds steez

If you want to ride more aggressive , go bigger, faster and add steez to every hit, put these on your bike. If you want to stay in your comfort zone and never push yourself in your riding and never experience progression. Don't get them. These are only for those who want to be ride like Bernard Kerr. And why wouldn't you want to ride like him?

I am really liking this high riser bar. I am a taller rider and it fits me perfectly. However this handelbar is definitely on the stiffer side.

Great Alloy Bar

Perfect! Tough Anodised Finish refuses to scuff or look tatty as the carbon bars tend to after a while, doesnt flex like a carbon bar giving it a direct and solid feel whilst retaining good vibration obsorbsion. Fully Recommended!

High quality durable bar

Nice bar! I got the 20MM rise which is great. Carbon bars are still sketchy for me so with little weight difference a nice Alum bar works without worry.One thing I like about the Renthal Fatbar is the coating. Having had black bars in the past they scratch super easy, especially if you move your levers around. The Renthal Bars hide scratches better and coating seems durable.

This time I went for the 35mm size version in black, with 40mm rise and full-on 800mm width.A bit unusual perhaps to some, but I am finding that it really works for me. Really solid, well made product and surprisingly light given it seems to be completely bulletproof in terms of flex when riding. It simply inspires confidence when pushing on, meaning that you always know where the front wheel is going to track as you move the bar. Of course a good front tyre and wheel set up help as well, but even with this, having a handlebar that will flex a bit when hitting rocks, roots or jumps will soon make you back off. These bars are exactly what I was needing, the bar feels perfect to a messure that one does not feel the need to cut them a ruin the bars final design. The material of aluminum is not the average quality it is high quality and one can hear it when tapping the material, it show in the weight as well . They went one step further and coated the bar with industry high standard grip compound coat that bites on the smallest amount of torque.Would simply love a carbon bar exactly the same for my race bike . That said yes they are not cheap , but the bar blows past the price point in all areas .Rock solid Renthal keep this brilliant work up.
