It's resident evil, of course it's going to be good. Gameplay is brilliant, graphics are great, it stays true to the original but has enough differences to keep it interesting. The new stealth mechanic brings a lot to the game too.But the negatives, this is the 4th time I've bought the game and over 50 quid is a lot for a game you have bought multiple times already. The new bolt gun is so glitchy and you end up losing bolts a lot making it almost useless. But my biggest gripe is you spend a load of time staring at the ground looking for bear traps as they are near invisible. So you miss looking up and around and actually appreciating the game, atmosphere and graphics. Death stranding is walking simulator, this is staring at the ground while walking simulator. ... I was not satisfied with the condition of my game and I would prefer my products to be in mint condition and any damage to be caused by me and not an employee. Fortunately, Best Buy came in clutch by allowing me to exchange it for a crisp, clean copy. I had never had a pickup like that before, but Best Buy and their employees helped me out.

Back in 2005, Capcom reinvented the survival horror genre with Resident Evil 4. Which became a beloved game in the franchise. 18 years we get a remake that no one asked for but we are glad that we got it. Playing on the ps5 was immersive. The atmosphere was perfect and to me was better than the original. Gameplay is very addicting, I found myself doing more melee attacks than anything. Graphics were beautiful to witness. One in particular are the waves in the lake when fighting Del Lago. There are minor changes but they don’t really impact the game at all. Any fan of resident evil would love to add this and any fan of survival horror needs to play. We now have two amazing remakes who are also game of the year contenders this year!
