It's resident evil, of course it's going to be good. Gameplay is brilliant, graphics are great, it stays true to the original but has enough differences to keep it interesting. The new stealth mechanic brings a lot to the game too.But the negatives, this is the 4th time I've bought the game and over 50 quid is a lot for a game you have bought multiple times already. The new bolt gun is so glitchy and you end up losing bolts a lot making it almost useless. But my biggest gripe is you spend a load of time staring at the ground looking for bear traps as they are near invisible. So you miss looking up and around and actually appreciating the game, atmosphere and graphics. Death stranding is walking simulator, this is staring at the ground while walking simulator. ... MoreIt's resident evil, of course it's going to be good. Resident Evil 4 Remake is a faithful adaptation of the classic survival horror game. The game features improved graphics to deliver a more immersive and realistic experience. The game's controls have been modernized, making it easier to maneuver through the game's environments, and the aiming system has been refined to make combat more precise. The story of Resident Evil 4 remains largely unchanged, but the updated visuals and enhanced audio make the game's atmosphere even more ominous and tense. One of the most significant improvements in the remake is the inclusion of new content that adds depth to the game's story. The new content expands on the game's lore and provides additional backstory for the game's characters.Overall a great experience.

This game is good overall in general. There is still some cut content from the original game. The frustrating thing about this game is the aiming. Especially for the PS5; the aiming needs to be corrected. I would say this game is much more challenging than the original game. The game is sometimes frustrating and annoying. Crafting ammo gets ridiculous after a while not sure why they had to make the game like that. The original game is easier and more fun to play. If you like challenges then this game will be a good challenge. I do like that they expanded some parts of the game like the lake. I also like that Leon can crouch and do stealth kills that is definitely an improvement in the game. Overall it's a good game. However, it doesn't replace the original game. ... MoreThis game is good overall in general. There is still some cut content from the original game. Great Game, Tough Pickup, Problems Resolved

Firstly, the game is great! It runs smoothly and looks phenomenal. I recommend this game for new and old Resident Evil fans alike. It is sure to become one of your favorite games in the franchise with its stunning visuals, fantastic cast, and horrifying locations and monsters. This ReMake follows the style that RE2 and RE3 had with its POV and combat, but it works well because RE4 was the first in the franchise to feature a third-person, over-the-shoulder perspective, but with modernized movement and controls. (Also, the game did have a visual glitch with popping colors along the bottoms edges of your screen. Do not worry, it was a video output glitch caused by the motion blur and depth of field settings, keep motion blur on and depth of field off. A patch should ... MoreFirstly, the game is great! Ripping off the sticker subsequently ripped off the plastic wrap around the game and also ripped a bit of the plastic cover around the box. I did not feel happy leaving the store, and later I get home and find out that the disc had a scratch on it. I was not satisfied with the condition of my game and I would prefer my products to be in mint condition and any damage to be caused by me and not an employee. Fortunately, Best Buy came in clutch by allowing me to exchange it for a crisp, clean copy. I had never had a pickup like that before, but Best Buy and their employees helped me out.

RE4 Remake Delivers!

RE4 was one of my favourite games when it launched back in 2005. A longtime fan of the series, I found it to be a fresh take that moved the franchise in the right direction, by making it faster pace, and adding more exploration and new combat/camera angles. When I heard the remake announcement, i was excited but nervous, as I was afraid they might chance things I loved about it. Capcom hot this one out of the park, however.Everything i loved about the original was still there, but the gameplay and visuals were absolute stunning improvements. The best change was the storyline and voice acting. RE4 is all you need to get by

Whether you’ve played the original, which still stands the test of time, or this is your first time playing, you are in for the ultimate Resident Evil experience. What I mean by that is, part 4 is when Resident Evil decided to make things interesting. After all, Leon S Kennedy was one of two heroes in the second game, so it’s safe to say that he is a certified zombie killer. That’s the feeling you get when you play Resident Evil 4. It’s a survival horror game with enough action and crafting elements to please almost any gamer out there. The new Resident Evil 4 will keep you entertained for days if not months. They added side quests. There’s less loading time than ever before. There’s even rumors of the “separate ways” dlc showing up just like the original RE4. You’ll be having endless fun with this game whether you care about the achievements or you just like the feeling of shooting up zombies that want to kill you, this is your game. Trust me….it will be up for awards in the near future. That’s a quote I’m not afraid to make. The game is already pretty polished. I haven’t experience a single bug on my ps5 while playing. Buy this game and enjoy.

RESIDENT EVIL
24 May 2023

Back in 2005, Capcom reinvented the survival horror genre with Resident Evil 4. Which became a beloved game in the franchise. 18 years we get a remake that no one asked for but we are glad that we got it. Playing on the ps5 was immersive. The atmosphere was perfect and to me was better than the original. Gameplay is very addicting, I found myself doing more melee attacks than anything. Graphics were beautiful to witness. One in particular are the waves in the lake when fighting Del Lago. There are minor changes but they don’t really impact the game at all. Any fan of resident evil would love to add this and any fan of survival horror needs to play. We now have two amazing remakes who are also game of the year contenders this year!

The first Resident Evil game I truly played is now remade for next generation consoles! Everything seems familiar, but there are differences. You can now move and shoot, the knife can be used for parrying attacks! The graphics are beautiful on 4K, and the eerie sound effects coming from the DualShock 5 mic keep me jumping. The main reason I got this was for the Steelbook, luckily I was able to pre-order and still get it! Unfortunately, I had to wait a week, it wasn’t available for pickup, only shipping, I had concerns last time I got a Steelbook shipped to me. Even curbside pickup was not available. I thought this would be similar to when I got Village. Steelbook arrived yesterday in good condition, thankfully! The graphical fidelity on the PlayStation 5 is simply outstanding, with stunningly detailed character models, environments, and lighting effects that immerse you in the dark and sinister atmosphere of the game like never before. The increased resolution and frame rate bring Leon Kennedy's harrowing journey to life in ways that even the original release could never have imagined. But it's not just the visual enhancements that make this version so exceptional; the gameplay has also received a significant boost. Thanks to the blazing-fast loading times of the PS5's SSD, there is virtually no downtime between levels or areas.
