Velcro is weak and does not last long.It is very expensive for the simple product that it is, and for the fact that the quality is average and the Velcro does not last long.I'm sure it designed to only last 12 months or 365 sleeps before it degrades, so that the customer is forced to purchase a least once per year.I'm not happy with this cynical attitude to the customer.

This is the 3rd headgear I have purchased for this mask. I find they Strech after a period of about 4 months then the strap adjustment stops holding, undoing during the night. Also, the strap rides up over my hair making the mask leak, so I am actively looking at a replacement either OEM or from another CPAP supplier. Price for this strap is outrageous for what it is.

The fit of this headgear was comfortable enough considering it's not "normal" to wear something on your head and face. I do not recommend this particular setup, with the mask, if you toss and turn or side sleep though. Unfortunately, I do both of those things so this mask setup did not work for me. This headgear is one of the most comfortable ones I've tried though. So I would think it would be quite comfortable for someone that sleeps on their back and does not toss and turn.

I have been on CPAP therapy for at least 8 years and never been happy with a headgear support. As a result, I DREADED the thing and was rarely consistently compliant with my therapy. This headgear with the Airfit 20 for Her Full Face mask has turned that around. The fit is perfect! I am a small-boned woman with delicate facial structure. The headgear set-ups for most masks are designed to be used by everyone, with a couple of cheap plastic strap adjustment clips that don’t work. This headgear is FOR HER, smaller in every dimension so it actually fits. It also has four adjustable support straps in addition to the head strap, so it is easy to get a proper fit, and it stays in place. It also has four adjustable support straps in addition to the head strap, so it is easy to get a proper fit, and it stays in place. Once you have achieved the best fit, you simply detach the magnetic buttons on the bottom straps and lift the whole assembly up and forward to take it off. Then it’s ready to go at the next wearing unless you have disassembled it for cleaning. For everyday cleaning, I just wipe the facial contact area with a sterilizing wet wipe to remove any oils or dirt.
I found Lofta when I was on vacation in California and had left a part of my CPAP at home. They were great to work with, and they took care of me when I could find no one else in the area. I just ordered my first piece of replacement equipment from them -- ordering was easy, and the proper equipment arrived promplty. If you are irritated with your medical equipment supply company, you will find dealing with Lofta a refreshing change of pace.
These straps turn to strings in less than a couple of weeks. They dig into your skin and even cut under your earlobes. Some people move in their sleep. Were unable to lay there like a dead person. The magnets break regularly and the velcro stops working almost immediately. Ive had to staple, YES STAPLE, mine in place. Ive had to tie the part for the magnets in a knot. Btw/ they break every 3-4 weeks because the piece going through the magnet is the size of pencil lead. Pretty sure most of these reviews are paid for because this product is garbage.
Just like the original, I suspect. I have been using those for over 4-5 years. I just clean them once every month or two. Even after 5 yrs the Velcro works OK, and the magnets, and fit is fine. I prefer the airtouch f20 mask, as I use high pressure. I say this to indicate that these masks work better than I might expect with the higher pressure bipap. Pressure range from 12 to 17, and as needed to 21. For these higher pressures, I like to use strap covers on the straps with the magnets. The straps limit to morning face high pressure marks..
I was on vacation in San Diego and broke my Resmed head strap. I needed a strap immediately and searched the internet and found Lofta was close and open. The office was beautiful, it looked like it was part of the next door art gallery. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful Lofta sales representative who sold me the head strap. I was able to sleep restfully the remainder of my trip, thanks to Lofta.
I'm a large fella. 6'6. And I have a gigantic melon for a head. I recently started using a Cpap, and the standard head gear that came with my mask is a bit snug. It pulled the mask really tightly to my face. I thought the large size would make a big difference. It did make a difference, but not a huuuuge difference. It's minimally larger than the standard headgear. Like, holding them up to each other and lining up the straps, the top straps appear to only be about 1/8 longer than the standard, unless it's an optical illusion. That being said, it was enough to make a difference and made the mask more comfortable. Also, it's just as good of quality as the one that came with my mask. And the speed of service and delivery from CPap Exchange was great. They offered the ... MoreI'm a large fella. 6'6. And I have a gigantic melon for a head. The head gear strap didn't prevent the mask from migrating significantly at night. As well, the lack of breathability of the fabric was causing me to have scaly skin at the juncture point of the straps at the back of my head. The mask was very difficult to maintain a seal on for me as well, making it uncomfortable due to the need to over tighten it. It would have been nice also if this device had come as a fit kit so that I may have determined with much leffort and discomfort at night spared, that this mask was not an appropriate choice for me.
