The Resmed AirFit N20 Nasal Mask - Bonus Mask Cushion - EOFY Special is a mass production product and the materials seem quite flimsy. I am concerned it will not be as durable as the other masks I have personally previously purchased. If the mask was individually manufactured to suit the skeletal features of an individual then perhaps manufacturers may justify the substantial cost. I will be pleased to be proven incorrect as I’m certain there are a majority people who require CPAP intervention to maintain a minimum health standard and who struggle with the substantial costs of masks, pump machines and consumables.

ResMed AirTouch N20 Nasal CPAP Mask This is the quietest mask I’ve ever had! No air blowing in my eyes. The mask seals very good. Headgear stays in place all night. I love it. I was hesitant to buy this because there were only three reviews and I’m used to the nasal pillow mask. With the nasal pillow mask I had trouble with it slipping around, blowing air all over and the noise would wake me up. The first night I had a little trouble getting used to the ResMed nasal mask. It’s harder plastic and the headgear seemed overwhelming. But, don’t let that stop you from trying it. Make sure you YouTube the videos on this mask. That helped me a lot to get to know how to use it. This will be the mask I will use from now on. CPAP Nasal Cushion

I was concerned about claustrophobia that has developed in recent years (probably due to choking at night for years without knowing it). The nasal cushion seemed less imposing than the full face mask. I thought if I got panicky I could breathe through my mouth.As it turned out, I found the nasal cushion to be very comfortable. The headgear i feel all night, but once the pressure turns up the nasal cushion barely touches my face. There is no breathing through the mouth option, as once the machine is moving air, if I open my mouth, air comes whistling out. But I experienced no claustrophobia issue.I have had the machine for 8 nights now. By the third, the bridge of my nose was sore. Good feel and construction

I have been using a Wisp mask for several years with my permanent CPAP unit; I recently bought the Mini Travel CPAP and the N20 mask. The mask is easy to set up and provides a comfortable seal. It fits well to my face, and the construction is solid. The exhaust is different from what I'm used to; it's slightly noisier, but my wife has no complaints after several uses. I'm going to take time to get used to this mask, but so far I am pleased. A solid value.

I wanted to like this mask

There were several features that made this mask unsatisfactory but the "deal killer" is that the air is released from the mask through a hole as a stream. It doesn't have the diffusion that other resmed masks have. It really aggravated my dry eye even with my eyes shut. My cat didn't like the airflow either. The other less problematic issues were the nose piece is higher and visible all the time making it claustrophobic and the mask put light pressure on the cervical spine area that was uncomfortable. I'm going back to the P10.

Nice reservoir of air surrounding nose

There were pros and cons to this mask for me. First of all, excellent scores for AHI--0.4 and 0.1. It was a comfortable mask and didn't produce the heavy chest pressure I have experienced with other masks. However, I have had cancer surgery on my nose and this left heavy red marks and indentation on the surgical site at the bridge of my nose. Additionally it left heavy mask marks on the side of my face where I had rested for the last half of the night. It did not keep my mouth from dropping open and left my mouth uncomfortably dry. This mask did not work for me, and I was grateful Lofta accepted it back with no questions.I have a female friend who is a longterm Cpap user, and she really likes this mask. Too Loud

I like the nasal masked and have been using Wisp for a long time but Apria did not have the one I wanted in stock so I bought this one. In comparison to the Wisp this is really loud because of the air outlet. I actually thought something was wrong but after consulting ResMed and online chat it appears this is just the way it is. Another nice thing about the Wisp compared to this is that on the wisp there is a loop at the top of the headgear that allows you to put the hose through. I think this helps keep the hose out of the way when you are sleeping. The resmed does not have this feature. Overall just a poor design and I'm stuck with the product because Apria does not do returns on open items.

Wanted this to work for me but it doesn’t.

I really wanted to like this, but because of the high pressures of my settings, I have to wear this tight to prevent large leaks. As a result, it cuts into the area between my upper lip and below my nose. Quite painful. Also this mask is louder than my other masks.Other than that it’s a comfortable fit, light, easy to travel with. Hopefully your pressure settings are not so high and it’s comfortable for you.
