I have been a typical "hard-to-fit" BiPap mask user. I seem to be right in the middle for most sizes. I have tried the Mirage Quattro, the Simplus 431, and the Respironics blue gel.THIS IS A GAMECHANGEROut of the box, I noted how light it was. The mask comes out pretty easily but not a big problem. I adjusted the mask three weeks ago one time, and not one setting change since. I was skeptical of the "magnet seal," but it is actually quite ingenious. It snaps into place and is additionally held tight by a magnet.Comfort: The most comfortable mask I've ever worn. I move all over the place, and my Mask Scores are consistently 100%, even with a pressure of 25. The air foam, which I suggest, is advised to be changed at 30 days, which is the Medicare standard.Get this Mask! Your search may be over!

Best mask so far. (Tried face cushion and nasal in past). 1. Comfortable excellent seal cushion 2. Full flow - lying on my side I don't crush side-tubes of older mouth/nose cushion as in past. This one supplies air from the front. 3. Quiet! I don't hear a loud rush of air all night. 4. Adjustable! You can turn the adjust knob to get closer/tighter or farther/looser fit. I adjust for just close enough to avoid leaks. I recommend this especially for side sleepers. Hose connects to front and is easier to manage as you roll than top-of-head connection.

First, the "Pro": I am sleeping better than ever since I switched to using this full face mask instead of nasal cushions. That's how it earns a 3 but a 2.5 would be more accurate.Second, the "Con": Every single night I have used this mask (6 months or so) even with it tightened down far too tightly, it wakes me up several times with noises, leaking around the edges or at the bridge of my nose. My pressure is at 14, so that may contribute to its thin rubber seal weakness.Another user has pointed out correctly that it doesn't fit the shape of his (and my) face very well, so to be able to sleep at all I have to tighten down on the side straps too tightly... leaving a next-day all day long impression on my face and soreness from being too tight. My opinion, ... MoreFirst, the "Pro": I am sleeping better than ever since I switched to using this full face mask instead of nasal cushions. It is totally inflexible, too unforgiving against the shape of my face. I'm sure there is a lab somewhere with a well-meaning staff who thinks this is the greatest thing since CPAP was invented. And if my face was shaped exactly like their original model's and the rubber seal had a bit more body to it, it would be awesome. As it is, it is barely tolerable. So frankly, within the next month or so I am going to look for something different. I am tired of this thing.
I used this mask (Mirage Quattro II) for years but then parts became scarce. My pulmonologist group insisted I should change to this smaller thing (still covers mouth and nose) that just hasn't been satisfactory. Still, I could not find new cushions. Until I found the mask on CPAP.com.I tried to order the mask, but discovered I would have to buy just the piece I needed due to prescription rules and such. Great! I could order just the part I needed. And then my search skills failed me ("Quattro II cushion" took me to some other mask's cushion). But I gleefully clicked "add to cart" and purchased what I thought was the correct cushion, but should have realized was not. Completely my fault. It arrived and I was quite disappointed with myself for ordering the wrong thing. I wrote back that I needed to order a different part and, though I never expected it, they took it upon themselves to send a proper replacement free of charge. They may have felt their web page led me astray, but it was 100% their fault. Then they called to make sure it was OK to send, and again I explained that I made the mistake, but they wanted to take care of me regardless. Not only did I get to start using my older mask (which is also much quieter), but customer service went way, way beyond what was required. If I could give 10 stars I would.
I have been using the Mirage Quattro full face mask for 12 years. It works well except for when I have not shaved for a few days, then air may leak in the area of my beard. It is easy to clean and wears far longer then the recommended usage time. With proper cleaning, they really only need to be replaced when they break due to prolonged wear. In general, I feel that all associated c-pap devices are priced for maximum profits.
I had issues in the beginning. I assumed from th packaging that it was sterile and used it right out of the package. I had a severe skin reaction locking like burn on top of my nose whit the skin falling off and a bleeding wound remaining. I nevr before had such an issue with a new cushion. I used for a couple of days my old cusion with vaseline on the bleeding spot. After healed off (I think it was only three days) I thorrowly washed the new cushion and used it for a couple of days with vaseline on top of my nose. Thereafter I had no more isues.
Although bulkier than other types, I get better sleep with this one. My suspicion is that it vents more of the exhaled carbon dioxide than do those with a vent only around the air entry point. Adjust the forehead thumbscrew carefully so you do not put too much pressure on the bridge of your nose, or inflammation will result.
I find the mask soft and fits onto my face well on all areas of the cushion and it rarely leaks. The downside is it leaves a big red mark across the bridge of my nose every morning, which is both painful and stays there for a few hours. Can be slightly embarrassing. Also if the mask has not been cleaned everyday or is in anyway tight on my face the entire mask can leave a red mark, you end up looking like the Joker out of batman some days, so it does require a fair bit of attention to avoid that. In saying all that, I have never had another mask to compare it too, and the most important thing is it means I get a good nights deep quality sleep, Ill take that over any amount of facial red marks 100 times over. I would recommend this mask, but if I had the cash I would ... MoreI find the mask soft and fits onto my face well on all areas of the cushion and it rarely leaks. My husband says he slept better than he had in a long time with his new mask. It is a hard to find thing in our town. He needs sleep and I need him to sleep because if he doesn’t sleep well he gets weird and I struggle to be nice to the poor guy. Thank you for having this available!
