I've worn this jacket for about 2k miles worth of riding over the last year or so and it has been great for moderate to warm temperatures. It breathes very well, is light, has plenty of storage for its type, and has comfort features in all of the right spots so it doesn't wear against me. Included protection is great but it does not come with a back protector.I fall squarely in the measurements of a Medium (32 W, 40 C) but sized up to a large and it's a good thing I did! As with most European sizing, a medium would be very tight but a large is just right. The styling is svelte without being constrictive and is exactly what I was looking for - everything that I need, nothing that I don't.Having zipped exterior pockets as well as two accessible breast pockets ... MoreI've worn this jacket for about 2k miles worth of riding over the last year or so and it has been great for moderate to warm temperatures. If you were to vary the outer shell it could easily become a four-season jacket if you don't mind layering.Overall, it's been a great jacket that shows very little signs of wear and suits most moderate riding conditions on its own, and every riding condition if you layer up.

So...I live in Washington—the western part where it rains a lot. A lot. And my first jacket had a waterproof liner a removable thermal liner which is exactly why I bought it because I was going to stretch as many seasons as possible out of it and let me tell you—it hits 80 degrees here and the two little shoulder vents of that jacket do not flow anywhere near enough air to keep me cool. The GT-R Air Textile Jacket; however, lets so much air through that I can only where it when it's extremely hot and humid here! This jacket sucks so much wind that I have to make sure that I have a backup sweatshirt with me to wear underneath in the event that I leave my destination a little later than intended and the temperatures drop below 70 degrees. But that's amazing. Even sitting in dead traffic in the heat of the day is relatively pleasurable when the slightest breeze picks up and the sweat forming under my arms and everywhere else on my torso is whisked away like my resolve when my radiator fan kicks on and starts blowing hot air onto my knees. But seriously. I would recommend this as a single season jacket to anyone in Washington or place with a similar climate and a multi-season jacket for anyone who contends with hot weather for more than a couple months out of the year. This jacket feels like the torso equivalent of zipping down the highway with your helmet visor locked up minus the windburn and obligatory insect impact to your face. I can't attest to how well the jacket will hold up in a collision, but I'll be sure to come back if it ever comes to that. The zipper and snap combos across the jacket are great and hold up during long riding sessions and the belt loop on the back of the jacket is a nice touch that my other jacket doesn't have. And aside from one minor detail (so far), the jacket is so comfortable that I like wearing it when I get off the bike as well and I'm not in a hurry to take it off because it's too hot. My only gripe is that the collar is a little rough at the moment and makes my neck itch a little bit—here's hoping that it breaks in a little and I won't have to worry about that much longer. And it looks good. Like... Really good. I've received several compliments so far and I imagine I'll get plenty more over the course of the summer.

I bought this same jacket at my local Cycle Gear and had to size up to XXL (I'm 5'11 and 235 lbs). The fit was otherwise good, I put a Seesoft back pad in it and rode home with it. It flows air well although I wish the back pad was better ventilated. The problem arose when I hit about 45 mph. The area above the collar bones (where epaulets would be approx) started to vibrate on both sides. I presume this is due to the cut of the jacket and since I had to go a larger size up, there is extra material there. The vibration sounded like chopper blades and right where my ears can most hear it. Hitting speeds above 65+ it became distracting and unlivable. It's too bad because it is an otherwise great jacket with high-quality materials. This is my first REV'IT product. ... MoreI bought this same jacket at my local Cycle Gear and had to size up to XXL (I'm 5'11 and 235 lbs). Great jacket, super air flow here in Florida where it's hot 24/7 12 months a year. The only complaint that I have is that at about 70 miles an hour the shoulders flapping in the breeze and cause my helmet to move a bit causing my vision to be a slight bit blurry.I have an alpine stars jacket that does the same thing. My Joe rocket Summer jacket and my leather jackets do not do that but other than that it's an excellent jacket. It keeps me from speeding too much!As per the revzilla video review, the jacket is indeed tight through my biceps but not a dealbreaker.
I like this jacket. It looks good, it fits me well, and it seems like it will hold up well. I have some issues with it though:1. The back protector is not only not included (and is an expensive $60 extra) but they don’t even throw a foam pad in the empty slot where the back protector goes like nearly every other jacket does. At the price that this jacket goes for, that is completely ridiculous. The actual CE back protector should be included for this kind of money.2. When zipped all the way up with the neck button fastened, it kind of chokes me a little bit. Maybe it’s my bad posture, but the neck area of this jacket is very rigid and stiff, and it digs into my neck when zipped all the way up and buttoned. Just something to be aware of. I ride with it unbuttoned ... MoreI like this jacket. It looks good, it fits me well, and it seems like it will hold up well. I have some issues with it though:1. I ride with it unbuttoned and slightly unzipped and that takes care of the problem.Ok now the good stuff:1. This thing looks killer. The rev’it logo is cool, and I don’t even mind the extra “REV’IT!” Branding on the sleeves.2. The cuff zippers and buttons are perfect. These cuff zippers aren’t going to unzip themselves.3. The contrasting colors are excellent4. The CE (level 2!) armor is super lightweight.5. This thing flows a crap-ton of air, to the point where I hesitate to wear it when the temperature is under 80 degrees, for fear of getting cold. Not an exaggeration.6. The fit is dead-on. I’m 6’0”, 175 lbs and I wear a large. It’s not good value for money, but once you buy the back protector, it is a good jacket
I do not want to be too harsh in my review of this Revit latest style mesh jacket but I guess you would need to consider the price. Too good to be true , often is . I should have known when there was no video review on site that there might not be much to brag about in this stylish piece. The fit is frumpy and the armor was lacking in substance, at first I didn't think they had put it in at all. The stitching was all single stitched giving a no confidence on durability and the weight of the material did the same. The snap sleeve buttons worked ok but really made it feel cheap and then the deal breaker I don't know how I missed this point was there was NO Napoleon Pocket for a phone . So the day of getting some serious protection in a mesh jacket for two hundred ... MoreI do not want to be too harsh in my review of this Revit latest style mesh jacket but I guess you would need to consider the price. Nice ventilation and it has nice style to it. But I should be viewing this a 2 because the protection in this jacket is Chinese crap! I was going 25 mph and have crashed before without other equipment but this jacket I landed on the grass and broke my collarbone. Not impressed and will never buy from this company again. So now my riding season is over while I heal because there is such light padding in the jacket. Oh the jacket is fine and I was offered $10 coupon as long as I have the tags. Who tries a motorcycle jacket on and keeps the tags on and Shame on your $10.
Great looking jacket, lots of air comes through while riding, and you will get compliments on the style, as I did the first day I wore it. Always buy one size up for Revit, I'm a medium so I buy a large and it fits well. So what's my beef? Well this is my second Revit jacket that has the inside "wallet" pocket on the right side, meaning I'd have to go for my wallet with my left hand. Was the designer left-handed? Don't they realize the MAJORITY of the world is Right-handed?Why is it so annoying to me? Because I always put my wallet on the opposite side in my normal jackets. On the plus side, this jacket has better zippers with better zipper pulls than my previous Revit purchases. Also realize that most jackets in this price point you should add or replace the armor ... MoreGreat looking jacket, lots of air comes through while riding, and you will get compliments on the style, as I did the first day I wore it. This jacket is a great fit, without the back protector. The good: the jacket is has a slim fit not baggy like most (6’ 205lbs) it looks great and I have gotten compliments from my wife and others on how nice it looks. To also flows pretty good air as well and all the armor sits perfectly for my body which can’t be said about most of the other jackets I’ve worn. I was lucky enough to get a deal on the see-smart back protector which I was really excited about after hearing great things about it.The bad: This back protector is ridiculously huge! More than twice the thickness of my d3o viper and I ordered my jacket based on the sizing that motorcycle gear gave accounting for the back protector but because of the crazy huge size it’s not very comfortable, but wearable.
I really like the look and the fit. I'm 5'11", 165 lbs and sz. L is spot-on. It's a fully vented jacket... not much confusion about It's purpose. I mainly wanted accessible pockets in a garment that wouldn't push me to heat stroke (and adds some crash protection). On that note, I don't mind that the single inside pocket is on the right side, but I feel that it is positioned a bit too high on the chest - and it would be nice if it were wp (a Zip-lock suffices). My only other nitpick is the single needle stitching...just seems a little low-rent for REV'IT.
