Excellent model to build of this stunning machine, to test one's skills, especially the landing gear. The beautiful British Airways livery is a good test of painting skills. This is my second A 380. Some pics of my current one in progress and one I built last year Which was given as a gift.

I saw this at an unbeatable price of 38 vs the usual 100 or so. The base kit is fine although it was designed before the real aircraft first flew, consequently there are some differences between the kit and the real aircraft (mainly belly gear door configuration, and the shapes of the cockpit glazing and landing lights). The "Technic" add-ons let it down. Although brand new and sealed, the power pack on/off switch was faulty, wouldn't stay in the "on" position and had to he held there. The sound is a poorly chosen and garbled mish-mash of "typical" sounds. In view of the faulty switch, I didn't bother to check the functioning of the lights.
Nice model but not for the inexperienced the fuselage has some serious fit issues, but can be made into a decent model.
It’s massive! Therefore it’s not so flimsy and it’s better to glue and paint. The plane has got all of its great real life features. The only thing I’d recommend to everyone is look at the guide inside for all of the colours needed as we have purchased this for our first model to find out nothing is included apart from the decals. So that’s more money I have to spend now for all of the paints needed and it’s not cheap! (of course you can just use the recommended but you want it to look good) Otherwise, the quality from Revell is always great and the selection on Hobbycraft was amazing: passenger planes, war planes, cars, trucks, 3D puzzles and the list goes on...
Difficult to follow the instructions and complete the model.

It’s great, it’s the perfect size for what it is it isn’t to hard to do just some really small bits.
Wonderful kit, bought for half price, well worth it.
