I've built quite a few of the hard top version of these 65 impala kits over the years and haven't built this convertible kit yet but I would guess it would build just as good since its the same basic kit.

Nicely detailed kit of this subject, always liked mid-sixties big Chevies! Good fit of parts, clear instructions guide amateurs and more experienced builders alike. Revell does a great job of capturing the look of the 65 Impala, and the chassis detail and engine are just beautifully executed, and really come alive when paint-detailed properly.

The kit is great, it's a cool mix of old school muscle car and newer details. The box I received unfortunately must have been dropped or crushed at some point because both A pillars on the body were bent and has bright white stress marks at the roof joint.After prime and paint it was not too bad. Also the mold for this kit is aging a bit because there was a LOT of flash
There are considerably more details in this build than most. The engine and interior have many individual parts that can be painted and assembled in stages allowing for better detail work.
Assembled these Revell kits as a kid. It’s great to teach my kid how to move up from Lego kits.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson. I’m sure he is going to love it. It’s a classic car and that’s what he enjoys building. Didn’t hurt that it was a Chip Foose edition…
The model was awesome, just as i remembered doing as a kid!! Miss this!!
This is a good, fairly well-detailed kit. Assembly is straight forward.
