These are my first armored riding pants. I am 6', 160lbs soaking wet. 35" waist/33"inseam. I went by the recommendation of this sites sizing and bought XL instead of my usual Large. Pants were pretty large in the waist ( even with hip pads ) so I went and ordered a large and they fit perfectly HOWEVER!! they were pretty tight in the crotch area while sitting on my ( Touring ) bike whereas the extra large gave more ( sitting ) room for the boys. I'm keeping the extra large and sending the large back, I wear a belt anyway so no big deal on the large waist tho I might go get it taken in. I'm thin and these pant legs have a nice snug fit. Cuffs are small but I can get them over my boots. Length is a bit long when standing but just right when sitting on bike. Boy can ... MoreThese are my first armored riding pants. Boy can these pants breath!, you can feel the air flow just by walking around in them. Very happy with my purchase.

Just got mine!! I wear a jeans 33-34 that is 33 waist and 34 inseam. I got the 34-34 and I am very happy with the fit. I was worried about the inseam measurement as I think the 34 size has an inseam of 32. at least that is what the sizing chart says. So these pants hang down on the instep just above the toe of my boots. there is NO stack. so when I sit there is some (maybe?) highwater look. If you wear high top boots this will not be a problem. the pants look to be nicely made. they won't win any fashion shows but they won't get any weird looks either.

I'm 6'1" 200lbs (size 34x34 pants) with slender but not skinny legs. The size chart said I should get XL, which fit me like clown pants or ski pants. Ridiculous. The knee guards were down in front of my shin and I needed a lot of belt to keep the pants up. I returned the XL for a L and they fit perfectly, with knee and optional hip guards staying where they should. In the right size, these pants are remarkably cool on a hot day and get excellent ventilation. They are more comfortable than they look.

These are my new favorite summer pants. I'm 6'4" 180lbs so tall and lean. Typically wear a 31/32x36 pants. Got the Medium Tall and the fit is spot on. They are definitely slim fit so be aware. Only gripe is I wish they were about 2 inches longer as they ride up my boots on the bike, even in a somewhat relaxed riding position. I think I measured the inseam at 35 inches. They are only rated A protection, but better than jeans, and the air flow is great in the dog days of summer down here. The knee armor has 2 position adjustability. The lowest setting is comfortable for me, especially with the armor being the flexible Seesmart. Does not come with the hip armor, but I have some from other pants. Pockets are usable as well. I read reviews that the waists run small but I'm pretty trim so I assumed it wouldn't be a problem for me. I assumed wrong. These pants fit perfectly except for the waist. I'm 5'8" 150 (no belly) so I bought the medium standard. I had to return them.Rev It needs to either experiment with adding some elastic in the waistband or add an inch to every size in the range. They are not sized the way ALL of my other pants are sized, both riding and otherwise.
I've tried mesh pants from other manufacturers and had limited success with fit. The REV'IT Eclipse 2 Pants are the best mesh pants I've tried but are still slightly off when it comes to fit and sizing. The sizing guidelines for the Eclipse 2 pants focus on hip measurements, not waist measurements more typical of men's clothing. I followed the sizing guidelines as accurately as possible, even asking for help with measuring etc. Despite my hips measuring well under for my size range the waist is still a bit too snug on me. I have a pretty slim waist and this is usually not an issue for me. I'm pretty sure the next size up would be too large. I'm 6 ft tall, 185lbs with a 32in waist and 39in hips. I ordered a size medium. I would have felt more confident ordering if the pants used waist sizes instead of hip measurements. Mesh clothing, pants in particular, are difficult to cut and size consistently. It may take a few tries to get your sizing correct. The Eclipse 2 pants would have benefited from some waist adjustability to bridge the gaps in sizes. That said, the Eclipse 2 pants seem to be a good balance of protection and airflow. I ride in very hot weather, Southern USA, and didn't feel a massive amount of airflow but I did feel as if I was sweating less and/or much dryer. This translates into a more comfortable, less sticky feeling for me, especially on longer rides.
The standout feature of this product is the mesh fabric, which provides superior airflow. This is particularly beneficial for Summer riding in South Texas, where the heat can be intense. To ensure you get the right fit, I recommend using the product's sizing chart. I initially ordered based on my pant size, but found the pants to be a bit tighter than I would have liked.
Tried quite a few different summer trousers and found these Revit Eclipse 2 ticked all the boxes. Wasn't too heavy was mesh to stay cool and felt strong/tough enough to give protection during slower summer riding sessions. I am 5"7 (~174cm) tall 28" (71cm) inner thigh (crotch to bottom of foot) 32inch waist and found the size 'M SHORT' fits well with comfort around the waist in sitting/riding position when my belly wants to splurge out lol. I tried the S Regular it was too tight overall and when in sitting/riding position it would become uncomfy very quickly as my intrails get squeezed.
These fit just right, when I measured based on what they said. I was nervous, as it's hard to get pants right without trying them on. But these feel right. They feel heavy. But on my naked knees, the mesh/pads actually rub and hurt a little bit. It's just rough inside.
I'll preface this with saying that this purchase was my 6th attempt at buying mesh riding pants, so maybe it's just my body, but these didn't work out for me. I have a pretty standard, somewhat athletic lower body, with large thighs and a caboose. I don't have an issue fitting into normal everyday pants. I fit into a 34 waist for most pants, occasionally up to a 36.Not sure if it's RevZilla or REV'IT, but the size chart is complete & utter garbage. I tried these pants in L (an indicated 35.4-37.4in waist) and literally couldn't even get them on. I even tried leaning on the bed! I went through the return process and tried an XL (an indicated 37.8-40.2in waist!), so I now have enough room in the waist to put them on, but it's still uncomfortable, plus it's like the ... MoreI'll preface this with saying that this purchase was my 6th attempt at buying mesh riding pants, so maybe it's just my body, but these didn't work out for me. I went through the return process and tried an XL (an indicated 37.8-40.2in waist!), so I now have enough room in the waist to put them on, but it's still uncomfortable, plus it's like the pants were not designed with the male anatomy in mind. There is no room 'down there' and I'm in a constant chokehold mooseknuckle. Like, I can't possibly wear these in public, and would not be fun to deal with on a long ride... Another issue is now the inseam is long enough that the knee armor doesn't surround my knees. So NOW, in order to get a pair of riding pants that look normal, are for hot weather, and offer adequate protection, I have to pay for a 2nd return, and get an EXTRA-EXTRA-LARGE... for a dude with a size 34 waist. The XXL says it's for a 40.6-43.3in waist! I'm sure the knee armor won't even tough my knees, and on that subject, REV'IT makes you shell out an extra $40+ for hip armor. So, if you really want these pants and are not built like a chicken then the best advice I can give you is to measure your hip size and make sure you account for any junk in the trunk. Order TWO sizes up from your waist if you have athletics thighs or a derriere. At this point I'm 100% done trying to find comfortable riding pants and paying almost $200 a pop. I'm just going to get armored shorts and ride with whatever pants I want, since none seem to fit properly.
