I tried a deluxe sample size of this and was, like others, surprised by the thick balm-like texture. I don’t think the smell is offensive - it didn’t really smell like anything to me, and though it did feel greasy on application and seem to take a while to absorb, the effects have been great. I’ve been exercising a lot outdoors in winter and was expecting my skin to be unhappy, but thanks to this and other products in my routine, my skin has stayed plump, moisturised, smooth and if not for the price tag I’d seriously consider getting this. I would spend this much on an oil though.

Product arrived in box without sticker seals. The stem of the pump was snapped off at the base of the pump and buried in the petroleum jelly like contents. I contacted and sent pictures to customer service immediately. I have been in communication with them for a week now without as much as an offer to replace or refund me. They did however confirm it was “safe to use”.If you want to spend $285.00 to dig jelly out of a broken jar and wasting half of it OR you just need something to “ReVive” your interest in other brands, this product is for you. If not, spare yourself and order from a retailer that would’ve made this right immediately.

I was really excited to have received a 5ml deluxe sample of this. I read the description and ingredients and thought it sounded like a pretty simple noiushing oil that would be perfect for an evening routine. The ingredients are mainly nourishing so I applied it in the evening after my active serums. What I didn't expect was the thick petoleum jelly-esq texture of the "oil". The texture was too thick and it felt greasy and sticky on the skin. I did not enjoy using it at all and was horrified at the price tag. I also did not enjoy the smell which a previous reviewer descibed as "gone off vegetable oil" - a comment I unfortunately agree with.
