Very disappointed. Revlon nail polish has always been a go-to. I have always found that it goes on smoothly, doesn't chip, and the bottle does not get clumpy after a few uses, unlike many of the other brands, most of which are also double the price. However, I just purchased this shade yesterday and am not happy. The display lighting in my usual CVS is so bright that every time I took a bottle off of the shelf, they appeared to be a totally different color. I finally chose one, and when I got home and applied it, it was totally different than it appeared in the bottle. I would have been okay with it, since the actual color is bad, just not at all what I expected or wanted. However, it did not go on smoothly, was clumpy, and did not even dry quickly. These are, without a doubt, the best nail polishes on the market. I have been using these since high school and I'll never waver because every time I do, I'm disappointed. The colours and range is superb, the consistency is so easy to work with and the brush... the brush! I don't know what it is about the brush but I never go wrong. I find I get the most consistent coats with the Revlon nail colour, whereas other brands can be quite patchy. It dried to a glossy, rich finish that looks oh so polished (pun intended)

I've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. No, apparently it's been discontinued and what's left around is way too expensive to even think about buying. The biggest thing I love about this polish is it didn't destroy my nails. After taking the polish off, my nails weren't dry, brittle, chipping and didn't break as much when kept polished. Tried the gel nails once, took me months to get my nails re-grown, needless to say, I went right back to a lite shade of the enamel, then back to Serene. Won't make that mistake again. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have ... MoreI've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have Totally Toffee, but it's a bit darker and I absolutely don't do pinks or weird color. Am a porcelain skinned strawberry blonde with green eyes and reds/pinks look horrible on me. Any color with a gray overtone makes my nails look like they are dead. So, unless I can talk Revlon into bringing back that particular color, anyone have any ideas on shades along that line?

Revlon Nail Products are Classic. My Mother taught me the love of Jesus Christ and to buy Revlon nail products. As most companies are cutting edges to up profits, Im sure this one is no different. They definitely have a superior product in the nail color. They have my loyality, I am waiting to see if they want to keep it. Some are satisfied with their products as they have become accustomed. For example, I buy this product because... that's what distinguishes a classic from a trend, not who is in a magazine or other marketing gimmicks. Marketing, may I mention is poor right now. I cant find my Revlon polishes in most stores, have to order products off line from amazon -- just seems wrong I cant go in wally world and pick out 3-4 shades a dozen times a year.
This review is technically supposed to be for the shade Privileged, but I have so many of these Revlon nail polishes that I would like to talk about all the ones I own. The formulation is pretty consistent across the board. The brush is a good size- not too thick, not too thin, not too sparse. It gives me the control that I need to get a thin and even layer on, as opposed to some cheaper brushes that would result in clumping or taking away product. The only shades I would say are little sheer and need 3 coats for the most impact are 660 Divine and 909 Sheer Petal. Divine doesn't look like it from just looking at the bottle, but once applied on the nails, is a vampy brownish red. Sheer Petal is quite pale and has a delicate kind of beauty, but beware, the sheerness ... MoreThis review is technically supposed to be for the shade Privileged, but I have so many of these Revlon nail polishes that I would like to talk about all the ones I own. All the other polishes I have look pretty great in 2 coats: 570 Vixen, 450 Hypnotic, 917 Plum Seduction, 215 Daydreamer, 640 Fearless, 715 Privileged, 415 Totally Toffee, 320 Serene, 915 Creme Brulee, 020 Pure Petal, 905 Sophisticated, 410 Dreamer, 590 Trendy, 585 Bohemian, and 495 Sultry. Here are some other notes that you may not be able to get from looking at the pictures on ulta.com:Glossy finish: Fearless, Privileged, Totally Toffee, Serene, Dreamer, Plum Seduction, TrendyShimmery finish: Divine, Sophisticated has slight shimmer, Sultry has violet shimmers that shift to pink and gold, Bohemian has coarser shimmers- almost glitterySatin finish: Hypnotic, Creme Brulee, Pure Petal, Daydreamer has a light green shiftUse a top coat to improve the longevity of the polish and try to buy these things when they're on sale.
Love the new and improved formula, especially the brush. I have 20 colors in my collection (OK, I LOVE polish), and they do not dissapoint. My faves are Cherries in the Snow, Revlon Red, Coy, Vixen, Teak Rose, Romantique, and Blushing. There are so many options for so many occasions and moods! And, all last at least a week and never chip. I do use a base coat. Thank you Revlon!
This is a plain glittery gray metallic polish. I didn’t think it looked holographic in the bottle, but gave it a shot anyway. The photo is 3 generous coats. The only way to see any holographic effect at all is to shine a very bright led light directly into your fingers and move them from side to side, and then it’s barely there. In regular light, including can lights or bright sunshine, it’s just boring shiny gray, which I already owned. Absolute waste of money.
Revlon’s Holochrome Nail Enamel, (color 100 Hologasm) is brilliant in every way possible. I cannot say enough about Revlon’s Holochrome Nail Enamel, (color 100 Hologasm), it is such an awesome color I even let my four-year-old wear it! If you love having a beautiful silver colored finger nail polish that you can even wear to the office, then this polish is the one for you.I will definitely be telling my family and friends about Revlon’s Holochrome Nail Enamel, (color 100 Hologasm) and once you have tried it, you will too.
Revlon Unicornicornicopia Holochrome nail polish is beautiful. It glides on smoothly as long as enough drying time (2-3 min between coats) is given. I initially put a second coat on 45 seconds later and had some clumpiness - user mistake. To me, Unicornicornicopia looks like a shimmery (not glittery or sand-like) lavender color that - with movement and light - looks like a bluish steel (grayish) color. So the polish color takes on differing shades as it maintains shimmer.Using no base coat or top coat, I wore this enamel for four days before chipping started. I imagine that it could be worn longer without chipping if basecoat and topcoat were used. I pride myself in keeping my nails well manicured & polished. Revlon super lustrous polish was my go to polish. I just bought a new supply of polish which included the color Vixen, #570, which has a label that says "New Formula." It is horrible—thick, gunky & does not go on even at all. It is so thick I doubt I will get 2-3 polish changes out of it, that is, if I have the patience to use it again. I will say I do like the new brush. The brush in the old formula really needs an upgrade—it is much to thin & stiff especially if you have long nails—so you don’t have to load the brush 2-3 times to polish one nail. Please get rid of the new formula & just give us a new brush for the old formula. I won’t buy the new formula again!
