Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder 15g 002 Medium

I love IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores loose powder, but the flashback is horrible. I heard this powder was a dupe with no flashback. My local grocery store had a 40% off Revlon coupon and I had to try it! I personally love the container. I will store it upside down and pour the powder into the lid and then dip my sponge into the lid. No mess with the lock in place cover. Yes, no flashback! It really does make the pores almost disappear, but this burns my face so bad! I then mixed it with my holy grail powder, Too Faced Peach Perfect hoping that I can continue to use it. After 3 days of trying to use this, I broke out so bad all over my face. So if you have challenges with acne, I would stay away from this one. But, It really does perform like IT Cosmetics without flashback. Too bad it did not work for me.

I’ve been using this for the past several months, and it really does help cut down on potential shininess. It’s great for layering over whatever base you may be working with and does not have a cakey look to it. It definitely helps my skin look very natural while giving it a more matte finish. Would definitely recommend if you struggle with shiny or oily looking skin!

THIS actually is a decent drugstore setting powder option along with the ! They both shocked me in a great way. It's super easy to apply does work better on all skin types, (including my dry dehydrated skin type) over other drugstore brands such as or , that crack,cake/crease, and create fine lines and wrinkles especially underneath the eye area after setting. This formula with a stippling brush helps to set without texture or caking,and helps to blur imperfections set for all day. Does help to control oil on makeup application I have done with oily skin type as well. It's not as finely milled or as flawless as , however it's definitely a decent drugstore option that's available! I would reccomend. Especially to oily/combo skin types! Ordered from my husband’s account - I really like this setting powder, which when I use it with setting spray really does keep my makeup in place. I’ve even used it with Dermacol, which requires the most industrial strength setting powder going - and it works well. I love the hinged cap that stops any mishaps in your makeup bag and it comes with quite a large lip to avoid spills. It also has enough room for a sponge in the top, of you are so inclined. I did find for the first couple of uses it was quite difficult to get the powder out of the holes, but as you use the product it becomes less of an issue. I have used it mainly with a brush, but using a damp beauty blender (I saw this tip after scouring YouTube tutorials) works so well. I’ve been using and it’s an amazing concealer. It’s not drying, good coverage plus the anti pollution/blue light protection. I did want to try the Candid loose powder because I really like to protect my skin as much as possible. I bought it in the Translucent shade. It’s a great setting powder, definitely my favorite next to Laura Merciers. It’s finely milled, does look chalky, and went on my skin smooth and even. Excellent Setting Powder

I recently purchased this product alongside the new Candid foundation (I reviewed the foundation separately...love). I always use a setting powder after applying my foundation so I have used many in my time. I have been using Thrive's CC cream foundation and their setting powder. I decided to give the Candid products a try and I am pretty impressed. I like the way it feels on my skin, I like the way it sets my make up. Game changer for oily skin!!!!!

I have extremely oily skin. I have always had to use a high brand foundation and powder due to my very oily skin. Well I ran out of my powder and I was on a tight budget so I went to the drug store and ended up purchasing this powder. Let me tell you I had no oil on my face at all that lasted from day to the next morning without any touch ups throughout the day. After my night out I came home and fell asleep before washing my face. I woke up and looked in the mirror that morning and my full face of makeup was still in place and not even a little bit of oil! I am very impressed with this powder. Oily skin and makeup are not friends but this was really a game changer for me. My days of spending 50 dollars on powder are over!

Make The Slotted Lid Removable

Love this product, but I am having the same issue as the other reviewer who is unable to use the product to the last drop. I absolutely hate the packaging only because I find it impossible to remove the plastic on top to get to the last of the powder. Please redesign this packaging! The slotted lid needs to be removable.

I usually do not purchase low end brand products but saw this and felt it was worth a try. My favorite setting powder so far is Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder, which does have a brightening affect (nothing intense). Anyway, I used the candid powder today and WOW. I am shocked! There's no settling or creasing, my skin looks and feels so smooth. I do wish the product was translucent, but it's not and it did darken my concealer and foundation just a tad. So I think I'll have to use my LM powder for setting the highlighted areas. I read some other reviews that said this powder caked, and I personally think that happened due to user error, this powder is so finely milled.
