I did not expect to love this so much! Better than many more expensive lip sticks I gave tried. As a frequent lip biter and picker, it is so hard for me to find any lip color products that do not dry my lips out or make my lips look more wrinkled within minutes of wearing. This is truly hydrating (not in the way that it just feels hydrating then makes my lips more dry in the long run like some other products seem to do.) A lot of lip products also cause me irritation and make the skin around my lips red, but this one has safer ingredients and make my lips feel and look nourished with a nice buildable color! I got the color in “On The Mauve” for my light-medium skin tone with neutral undertones. I tend to wear more nude colors on my lips and not extremely vibrant colors that “punch” and I love this shade! The shade options are gorgeous and I feel most of the choices will look great on whatever skin tone and undertones you have. I will absolutely be buying more colors and highly recommend it to those that need the extra hydration with a nice pigmented semi matte color.

A multitasker!

This is a perfect lipstick for those days when you want to slick on just a bit of color with a lot of comfort and moisture! The colors are fairly sheer. You cn also use this lipstick as a gloss over the more fuller coverage classic Super Lustrous lippies. Just make sure to use a brush to apply the SL Glass Shine over the SL classic. This way you control the application and keep the lippies clean. I do not see the SL Gass Shine in Sparlking Quartz. I was so looking forward to buying my 3rd tube b/c I used it as a gloss over any other lippie or as a cushiony lip balm. But, I am glad to see Glosse Up Rose is still available so I can get my 2nd tube:) Thank you Revlon!

Great drugstore option

I have this lipstick in the shade Shameless and it is one of my favorite formulas. It is a creamy lightweight matte with a lot of pigment. In terms of formula, it competes with more high end brands. It most closely resembles (IMO) the bareMinerals BarePro Longwear lipstick formula (in the thin tube). I loved that formula! In terms of the color, I'd describe it as a terracotta nude rose - on my light olive skin it definitely is warm, so I don't like to wear it opaquely, but a light application is beautiful. It's very nuanced for a drugstore shade. I haven't explored any of the other colors, but would love to.

Lovely colors, beautiful application

I noticed many reviews didn’t mention the shade, so I’m adding some info. Formula is like UD Vice Comfort Mattes for me. Show Off has been a revelation for me. I find true reds (Revlon Certainly Red for example) look clownish on my skin and bring out pinkness around my lips and nose and accentuate acne redness. But Show Off is a very wearable muted red on my nc20 nc25 ish skin. (And I am maybe a “dark autumn” if you do that coloring stuff). It’s very wearable and does not pick up my red spots at all. Yay! Insane is amazing. Reminds me of UD and MAC shades, a deep but slightly muted raspberry maybe? Also remarkably wearable. I love Cherries in the Snow in this matte formula. It’s great Revlon made this line, it rivals department store brands formulas.

Perfect Dupe for Chanel Rouge Cocoa Flash ( Shine Lipstick)

I really wasn't sure if Mauvy Night would look right on me, as my skin tone is warm and I'm far from pale, yet to my surprise it actually looks great. Also it's my very first time trying a Revlon lipstick. So onto the product itself... It's a gorgeous dark berry/plum tinted mauve shade with a slightly glossy cream finish. In the tube, the color does look a bit darker than how it looks once on your lips, so worth bearing that in mind. Lasting power is excellent, the only time I have to reapply is after a meal, no issues with transfer onto glasses or cups when I sip water throughout the day. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Sheer 855 Berry Smoothie

Researched this carefully and expected to love, but on my lips, this is insipid in both colour and texture. It's a mauve rather than a berry on me, and is not especially moisturising or glossy. I have lavender pigmentation at the edge of my lips but pale skin and I need all product including gloss to be capable of defining a soft edge or blending discreetly in a flattering way. I was unexpectedly disappointed by this one, the colour and texture do nothing for me at all. I could live with or indeed embrace a sheer tint of colour but this just doesn't do anything for my lips. I can see this working on plumper lips with a different skin tone but I feel like even then you would probably want to use an additional product like lipliner of a pop of gloss to make it work. As for the two stars, there are definitely worse products and the price and delivery time were excellent but I wouldn't have spent the money on this had I been able to see what it looks like on me. It seems Revlon previously made a "lip butter" in this shade and it could be that texture would be far more suitable for my lips and more to my liking.

Super underrated

These are probably the best drugstore matte bullet lipsticks I've tried and I'm pretty sure I've tried most of them at this point. So creamy with like a satin matte finish. No smell or taste like the waxy smell and taste that the Maybelline bullet lipsticks have and they're not drying over the day. These and the Milani Color Fetish Mattes are probably my top drugstore bullet lipsticks, but those unfortunately have an even smaller shade range than these. Like with many matte bullet lipsticks, if you have very dry lips this can emphasize or cling onto dry patches (My MAC lipsticks do this too) but they don't tug and are not hard to spread over the lips and don't feather. Traditional Oldskool Style Lipstick

This lipstick goes on super smooth and thick. Looks great. Just like the lipstick my mother would wear back in the days. Just like that though it comes off on everything I put my lips on. If I'm out drinking brewskis with my broskis I leave marks on the bottles or out with the gurls having cocktails I leave my lipstick on the glasses. The good news is if u gotta wipe it off quick it comes off easily. The colors don't really match how they read. This was super red and it's not as red as I wanted. Be careful with the color u pick. Test it out. All in all I really like. Gonna wear out with the bro's tonight for beers.

Worth the hype?

This lipstick is literally sold out everywhere! Finally got my hands on it! As you can see, it's a beautiful pink shade with hints of sienna brown in it. The formula is super hydrating and creamy so obviously this will not stay on your lips. One meal and its completely gone. But I am obsessed with the shade. It's such a pop of color on your face, a perfect springtime shade. This shade will compliment pale to wheatish to medium to tan to olive to dusky skin tones. But it's going to wash out deeper skin tones but they will look bomb with a berry or a chocolate lip liner. The price point just doesn't justify the lipstick. Other than that a beautiful springtime shade.
