This is so solid it will last for years. It’s really sharp, and will punch through thin card and quality papers with ease. A nice feature is that you can lock it, which means if a small child got hold of it they wouldn’t be able to use it. It looks smart too. Not cheap, but worth the money.

After my last experience with a really cheap punch, this one is a 'breath of fresh air'! It makes light work of several pages (the cheap one could hardly manage 2!) It has a slide out centring gauge for easy centring of your holes (the cheap one had a mark showing the middle so you had to fold the paper in two to find your middle) It cuts two nice clean holes (the cheap one would only cut one left to it's own devices but would cut two if you pressed down extra hard on one particular part of the machine and then the paper jammed more often than not!) As soon as this new punch arrived and had been tested, the cheap one went straight in the bin!

Very sturdy, easy to use, comfortable on the hand when doing many sheets. Very useful paper-size bar.
[...]The design looks good the punch feels nice to use. The brilliant thing about it is the way the handle can be locked down so it takes up less storage space. Having said all that, the plastic base is extremely difficult to remove. This isn't such a great problem, as the punch features a little plastic door which allows the punch to be emptied. Unfortunately the hinge to this door appears very flimsy, it was this which had broken on my first one and I don't expect the 2nd one to last long term. If Rexel can fix this issue they will have a fantastic punch on their hands.
