After owning some of the cheaper awnings and having them fail I bought on of these Rhino Rack ones. Very glad I did. The quality of the material and the workmanship is well above the cheap version. I can see this one will last years

Have recently used one of these awnings up at double island, from the moment you roll the awning out (very simple) you can see the quality straight away, far superior to other brands. It held up very well with the wind and rain, only thing I wish we had was an extension or walls.

I have the 2500 Sunseeker awning mounted on my van about 6' of the ground. As a 5' tall woman I am able to set up and take dawn this awning solo without much difficulty. The awning is sturdy enough that I don’t bother with the staking it down unless there is going to be more an 15mph winds. In the rain I just lower one corner and have no problems with rain collecting where it shouldn’t.

The awning is sturdy enough that I don’t bother with the staking it down unless there is going to be more an 15mph winds. Awesome awning, easy to put together by yourself, but easier with two people putting it back in the case. I accidentally broke a hinge the first day lowering the awning too low, passing the breaking point of the hinge. Replacement hinges are easily attainable through the manufacturer or other authorized retailers. I would recommend this awning to anybody, just make sure you read the instructions and make sure you have the correct mounts for the rack system you have. I knew going in I was going to make custom mounting system to fit my Subaru Outback tie down points.

Just returned from a week long excursion down our national seashore and this awning was a shinning star at making mid-day bearable.With temps rising in to the 90’s and high humidity, this bit of equipment was as important as the water we carried.Setup is easy enough for one person and setting guy lines is a must in windy conditions.The only reason for the four star review was during take down one of the awning support pole’s cam jammed and took several tries at unlocking it.Otherwise, amazing and well worth it.
Easy install considering it was mounted on Rhino rack pioneer platform. So there was no need to get creative. It's easier if 2 people deploy and stow it, but you can do it by yourself it need be. I would recommend this item.
I used mine on Australia Day for the first time. I absolutely loved it. Easy to set up, easy to put down. Didn’t even use the tie down ropes. Many people had there’s torn due to wind but the Rhino awning stood strong. It looks expensive and the quality is top notch with no corners cut. I highly recommend the Rhino Roof Awning.
After having a couple cheaper brand awnings in the past i decided to spend a little extra and purchase the Sunseeker 2.5 awning for my new vehicle. we have since used the awning a few times at our local beach and are very happy with the purchase. The awning quality is sooo much better. The poles and fabric you can just tell they are higher quality and once set up withstands the wind with less movement and flapping.Customer service from Rowan was second to none a credit to himself and the company. By far the best price i could find for the awning and roof racks i purchased.I'm not usually one to leave feedback but in this case i thought the product and customer service deserved to be rewarded with a few honest and positive words.Cheers
After buying a cheap awning and finding it so hard to put up and down ( I am small in height) and the quality of materials was incomparable. Easy to put up and down and the materials of the sunseeker were a pleasure to use. I had to sell the cheap version and buy the sunseeker again. So much happier with this product.
