I have not bought Ribera for years and remember a glorious fruity, sweet flavour, however this sugar free version is horrible. Tastes of chemicals, which are plentiful on reading the ingredients list. No real blackcurrant flavour and acid, unpleasant taste. Completely put me off what was a trusted favourite drink, hot or cold. Will not be buying Ribena again. Will read labels before buying and stick to those with just fruit and real sugar as the preservative. Disappointing. I totally agree with some of the other disappointed reviewers.

A wonderful, classic stand-by to keep in stock as a refreshing thirst-quencher,not to mention the Vitamin C content. The low sugar variety loses nothing in the taste department!

I remember this being a thick syrupy drink and very sweet. This no added sugar version is less so and I would say more enjoyable and very refreshing. It does contain sweeteners, but I don’t mind this as you can not taste them. Lovely flavoursome, refreshing drink for my water bottle to take to work.

My absolute favourite squash in the whole world is Ribena! Nothing beats it. It’s absolutely gorgeous distinguishable taste is recognisable. A delicious blackcurrant that is like no other. Always buy it and always will.
This drink has the great taste that we know and love, just with less sugar. The nostalgic taste will take adults back to their childhood, but giving a nod to those who care about sugar consumption. Ribena always was, and continues to be, the perfect choice drink for all occasions. Obviously if you like blackcurrant, that is.
I got this around two weeks ago, I haven't had Ribena for years, I was intrigued to see if it had changed much since I was child. It definitely tastes better than when I was younger, I went for the no added sugar as I always remember finding it too sweet before and was surprised at how much more drinkable it is. But as the title says, it's ok, there's nothing wrong with it, it's definitely better than before, it's just not for my taste buds I think.My one main negative is actually to do with the bottle, after taking off the cap there was a pool of blackcurrant that spilled everywhere, I hadn't removed the stopper yet, that makes me a little unsure on the point of the stopper if blackcurrant gets through anyway.
First time trying this squash and everyone in our family loves it. It doesn't leave an after taste like some other squashes do. It has no added sugar and is enriched with vitamin c, perfect for kids. I don't normally let my kids have juices as they are normally high in sugar but I don't mind diluted drinks, as I control the amount they have.
Good quality squash, refreshing and sugar free. We don’t like giving our boy lots of sugary drinks as such we thought we would try this. He loves the flavour and usually asks for more after gulping his first glass when coming in from playing. Mum and dad also like this too so win win. Refreshing and great taste.
I love Ribena, always had this as a child. However now I’m older I’m more conscious of sugars in drinks etc and decided to get the sugar free version, I was a bit sceptical as usually in my opinion, sugar free is fun free! However I honestly could not tell the difference! The great same taste I was used to as a child. Has certainly earned a place on my weekly shopping list!
I love this Ribena with no added sugar, it tasted lovely and very refreshing. Its great for both adults and children, we made lolly ices with some of it, really welcomed in this hot weather. Its great as a long drink with plenty of ice cubes, the children love it. The style of the bottle is good and fitted well in the fridge as its not bulky. You add water to dilute it which I like as you can make it as strong or weak as you like. We also added it to lemonade which was nice. The ring pull was a bit awkward to pull to open the bottle, but once it was off it was easy to pour the drink out. A great tasting drink.
