When I bought this i expected it to wobble and not be sturdy. I was surprised and pleased at the stability and ease of use. It was easy to assemble as evident in this assembly video: https://youtu.be/tbHTG3qO18E It is easy to load and unload in my truck. the saw stays stand steady on teh stand even when the stand is folded for storage and transport. The stops make repeated cut a breeze and the support arms are more sturdy than expected. I enjoy using this stand every day.

The RIDGID 1/8 to 5/8 #103 mini tube cutter works great. Needed it to cut some small aluminum and thin steel tubing. Cut was straight and clean. Right tool for the job.

So I’ve needed a miter saw stand for longer than I would like to admit but I decided to take the plunge. I can’t believe I waited so long, it’s a little bulky but rolls up stairs and I had no problem getting it in my inclosed trailer with the large wheels. It went together quick after I figured out the directions, as they could of been better. I’ve looked at many brands and styles of miter saw stands and this ridgid mobile stand is the best at all price points in my option. Don’t hesitant and buy this stand it’s worth every penny.

I was really impressed and wrote a 5-star review. I then bought a different brand (MstrFrce) - but very similar - stand for my very large and heavy DeWalt dbl-bevel, sliding saw. The saw was just too big and awkward on that stand. It would not stand up in the vertical position with the saw attached (which the manual says not to anyway). I returned it. I bought the AC9946 with the much bigger 12" wheels and I'm glad that I did because it rolls across the lawn with ease. Here is my initial feelings about the stand : 1.) Please open the box and remove all parts OUTDOORS if you want to have peace with the wife. The tiny, clingy, styro beads float everywhere!! 2.) The stand is packed in form-fitted styrofoam and survived the delivery quite well. 3.) The directions/Manual are good but not great because you have to constantly switch from the printed instructions to the diagrams and there are about 20 pages in-between. It really didn't take me long to assemble, however... 1 hour or probably less and zero goofs. Be especially careful to measure the bolt lengths against the instructions and look at the diagrams to see if you should be using a Phillips head bolt or hex head. What is nice is both of the Ridgid stands that I bought have the bolt, flat washer, lock washer, nut combos preassembled so it makes that a little easier. 4.) Mounting the huge and very heavy DeWalt to the saw-to-stand adaptor arms was quite easy and the saw is rock solid. I like that by releasing some pressure of the adaptors I can easily slide the saw left or right for a little extra material length capacity. 5.) Even after watching 2 videos of guys collapsing the stand and storing it in the vertical position WITH THE SAW ATTACHED I still had my doubts about this heavy DeWalt but I operated it just as easily as the 2 gents in the videos. I was stunned that without any hydraulics I was able to safely collapse the stand, wheel it from the house to the garage and store it in a space-saving vertical position. 6.) I set it up in the ready-to-use position and back to storage position several times and it was great! The stand is extremely sturdy feeling with nearly zero wobble. Every part is built to last for a couple of generations at least. I love the easy with which the extension arms extend and they also feel solid.

I have had a lot of jobs us stands in my career both stationary and mobileI. This is by far the best of them all. Easiest to use, quickest to set up, versatile and most stable. Its pretty heavy but its built like a tank and has a lifetime warranty. Love the large wheels that roll over debris, up stairs and through ruts at muddy job sites. I have spent 3x the money and this blows them away. My Milwaukee 18 volt required me bolting to a piece of 3/4 ply to saw as it has hex head holes on base and stand has bolts from bottom , not a big deal, made a nice shelf for pencil or tape.

Bought this while preparing for a large project running all new brake lines on a project vehicle. Before I even got to it, I ended up needing to do an emergency repair on an oil feed line for my furnace and this little gem made my life easier. Clean, easy cut required very little attention before flaring ends and assembling the end fittings. Small size means being able to get into tight areas to make clean cuts. Highly recommend!

Decent cutter

I’ve gone they about 10 of these tubing cutters, the c clip that holds the handle and spindle keeps falling out. It’s very frustrating. I bought a pair about a month ago and they are already broken. I’ve replaced them countless amount of times and it’s always the same issue. I really like the cutters, but when they break I wanna throw them in the lake!!

I had a leak in under sink RO system where copper tubing (1/4'') connected to flexible plastic 1/4" tubing. The original quick connect fitting would not come apart, so I had to cut it off and replace with a new quick connect fitting. There was very limited space under the sink, thus no way to get in with a hacksaw. This little tool worked exactly as designed, made a fast, easy, clean cut in the copper tubing, which was ready immediately for the new quick connect fitting. I can't comment on durability, may never even use it again, but still for about $13 it saved me a visit from the plumber!

I use this for repairing steel brake lines and copper piping. It makes smooth precise cuts on copper and does a superb job on brake lines. There is no replacing this tool when you need it. Ridgid has always been a name you can count on in the plumbing world and this tool is no exception. For the price, it pays to have one in your toolbox.

This pipe-cutter did the job in a tight area (which is virtually any retrofit). The knob's diameter is the same as the width of this compact unit, but as such, it doesn't give the user much rotational leverage. I wonder if a little of the compactness could be sacrificed for a slightly larger knob, or make the knob triangular instead of round. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and function of the tool.
