I have tried this super gel polish in shade rock n roll. It is a beautiful blue toned red. The polish applies evenly and has a great coverage. I found it incredibly easy to apply as the brush it comes with is soft and wide and covers a wide portion of the nail and the polish layers amazingly and smoothly. The bottle itself is very sturdy simple and cute. The polish does not chip easily and is quite resistant to scratching and pressure. It dried quickly, preventing it to smudge accidentally which made the application process even more pleasant. The polish was removed easily using acetone based and acetone free nail polish removers with minimal to no damage to my nails or cuticle. I would love to try this polish in different colours. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

Super easy to apply, dries fairly quickly, no long waiting & still getting sticky polish damaged.I work in a garden centre, after 4 days still no chips! It had cracked from the nail bending but unnoticeable unless looking close & even with the fine cracks, no chipping.Looking forward to more colours now, super happy

I came across this product over a year ago and apart from two occasions have used it ever since. Salon nails are nice but so harsh on the nails for wearing and removing. This product leaves nails in better condition as does not need scrapping to remove. Having read some of the reviews the negative ones all have the same problem. A second coat of nail varnish needs at least an hour or longer to dry properly before applying any third coat and they are complaining because they left for 10-20 minutes. Remember each coat just softens the layer below, so takes twice as long to dry! (Old school taught me better!). Personally I love this product. My only complaint would be the lack of colours on option. Am more or less stuck with the grape or jazz red. I bought this as a top coat for 012 soul session. I'd actually chipped a couple of my gel nails so wanted something that would match my gel shade and not look too obvious. The top coat gives the super gel polish a nice glossy finish. It is a fair substitute for real gel and doesn't look out of place next to my actual gel nails. It's not so good you'd never get gels again but it is good enough. Note though, that if you use the super gel colours without this top coat, they look a bit rough. You do need this top coat for the shine and gel(ish) look.
I love how smoothly and with control I was able to apply the polish. I got a really nice even finish. Often other brands have a much runnier consistency that spills over and is difficult to control but this Rimmel product is fantastic. I prefer a more pastel shade though and I think it would look fab!

They do definitely have a gel - like finish, not a million miles away from salon level. The real test will come over the next few days however to determine whether they withstand a busy lifestyle! Having had a shower this morning a day later the very tips of the colour are starting to wear slightly, exposing a thin white halo at the tops of some of my nails, but apart from that it is still going strong!

The glossy look really makes my nail stand out and I have had numerous compliments.I also tend to do a lot of washing and was pleasantly pleased that my nails were not chipping or breaking as I felt this was making my nails stronger.I found this lasted for 8 days at the most before a slight chip showed. I did also feel my nails were slightly stronger whereas normally on the sides they tend to chip. The one thing which really makes me love this product is show I no longer need to go to a salon to remove anything as a normal nail varnish remover works perfectly.
Bought the New Romantic shade, very disappointed that it's an extremely dull / lacklustre colour, I expected it to be more pink but it's practically the same colour as my natural nails. I applied 2 coats, about 20 minutes apart - I could still see the light through the tips of my nails when I held them up, that will tell you how thin and lacking in pigmentation the polish is. I gathered clothes from my dryer about an hour after application and all the nails on my right hand smudged from reaching in to pick up the hot clothes. Waste of money.
So... the Colour (Soul Session 012) pretty from the bottle; although 4 coats was needed to get said colour.The brush bristles are so thick it left streak marks in every other nail, unless it was loaded with the varnish whereas drying was tripled. 7 out of 10 nails were smudged after 30 minutes of application. I didn’t purchase the top coat at this point I wish I had; however reading other reviews about the top coat I’m really glad I didn’t! I can’t bare the fact that Rimmel are actually a well known, well named established company however missed out the curing process of a varnish. Disastrous and disappointing. Please don’t waste your time.
