I absolutely love the Ring Fit Adventure! I'm not a fitness guru or some athlete. I'm a normal woman who needed to lose weight. I bought the Ring Fit in July of 2021. I was almost 240 pounds and walking was getting difficult to do. I was breathing heavy and was not happy how I looked in clothes. I knew I needed to work out and this video game seemed to be a good option. When I started this, it beat my butt! It's now been eight months and I have lost 38 pounds. I can now walk and breathe better. I'm happy with how I look in clothes. I have watched what I eat and the Ring Fit is my go-to when it comes to fitness. These workouts are intense and by the end of a workout I'm sweating like a pig. You can adjust your level if it's too difficult or easy. I love Tipp in the game because he does warm ups and cooldown. He is also the one to check in on the difficulty level and gives general fitness and nutrition information. It has a good storyline and definitely keeps me engaged. Thank you Nintendo for making this game. It has literally changed my life for the better!

I am a pretty lazy and inactive person. I've dabbled with working out in the past, but I've always stopped due to my injuries or just out of getting out of the habit. This game however, is literally a game changer. I have never had so much fun running in place and doing squats as I have playing this game. The running areas are colorful and vibrant, and the RPG aspect as well as the endorphins from excercise keep you coming back for more. Set up is fairly simple and easy (once you actually get this game, which I know is difficult right now). The game explains things in a very easy to understand manner, and the leg strap and ring-con will let you know how well your form is while performing exercise moves. Make sure to be honest with yourself and the game, and listen ... MoreI am a pretty lazy and inactive person. The game explains things in a very easy to understand manner, and the leg strap and ring-con will let you know how well your form is while performing exercise moves. Make sure to be honest with yourself and the game, and listen to your body though. The first day I pushed myself to fight the first boss, even though my body was telling me I was tired, and I ended up getting very nauseous after my session. However, the next couple of days I stopped when my body told me it was ready, and I've gotten far better results and enjoyment out of the game. I now wake up every day waiting to finish work so I can start playing Ring Fit Adventure. Very great for anyone who doesn't or very rarely excercises, and can be a fun supplement for those who already have a workout routine. If you have a hardwood or tile floor, I would also recommend getting a cheap yoga mat, as it will help lessen the impact on your feet from the constant running and excercise moves. I've also invested in some protein powder, as I find I recover faster and less sore when I drink a protein shake after playing. If you happen to be a woman who is "well endowed", a supportive sports bra is highly recommended as well, as there are exercises and motions in the game that can prove more difficult or cause back pain if you don't have enough support. If you have disabilities or injuries, such as back problems, knee issues, etc, there are options that either alter the excercises for those regions, or let you press buttons to help you bypass the affected area. I have not played around with all the options though, so I am unsure of the extent of this feature, only aware that it exists. The story can be corny (my girlfriend definitely was giving me a raised eyebrow at first like "this is the game you've been so excited for and trying to get for the past 4 months? She has since seen the value in it and why I wanted it.), but as you play, there's a lot of humorous dialog, and each of the characters are full of personality and character. Would definitely recommend to anyone. If anyone needs more information, there's a sub reddit full of friendly and informative people, and there is a YouTube Ring Fit Adventure review by the user Specs that is very well thought out and by far the best review I've seen. The reviewer does note some complaints from the game, but most of the issues he mentioned were resolved in a recent update, which added new modes and features. Hope this helps anyone who is interested. TL;DR: The game is fun and you should totally buy it if you see it in stock. Don't give in to scalpers though. You will eventually get to buy it normally.

Entertaining, just know that this is an exercise program first and foremost with a very child-friendly story. It is nothing amazing in terms of the video game aspect, most people will find it boring as the story is predictable and repetitive. If you buy this, it's for the exercise and health benefits. It helps you get a workout in, but will not help you lose weight unless you are actively eating healthy as well. So don't buy this expecting to lose extra weight while still eating junk food. As far as exercise equipment goes, it is the most entertaining. Comes with the joycon accessories needed and game.

I was a bit skeptical when we looked into the Ring Fit Adventure game because I thought it may be more for kids. Further, even if it was for adults, my fear was that it wouldn't provide any semblance of a workout. I am proud to report that I was wrong. Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch has been wonderful so far. The game setup is pretty engaging and you're able to really get a solid workout in a variety of ways. If you're like me, you might think that the ring is easy to break. I am no powerhouse, but I have bent and pulled the ring in several directions so far and don't feel as if it is losing any of its original form. This is especially impressive given that it is so light weight. It has helped with strength training (note: you probably won't become an Olympic weightlifter with this system) and has overall led to better fitness for me and my family. The combination of an engaging, fun game along with the ability to provide a good element of fitness helps me highly recommend this game to all ages of Nintendo Switch users.
To start off, this game is only compatible with the Switch model that connects to the TV and will not work with the Switch Lite model. Not a lot of floor space is required, and to my surprise the "Ring" hardware is extremely sturdy. The game campaign does require light in-place jogging to progress through the levels. Jogging is not required to use other features of the game. In a household with people of all ages and levels of fitness, this game has managed to get everyone to break a sweat. Even on a medium difficulty, expect it to raise your heart pumping. The game campaign starts off by introducing the game mechanics on how to use the included "Ring" hardware. Even on a medium difficulty, expect it to raise your heart pumping. The game campaign starts off by introducing the game mechanics on how to use the included "Ring" hardware. It's fairly easy to use even for an older user not familiar with video games. Some shadowing might be required but the game has a great feature that demonstrates proper posture and movements prior to a workout. The game campaign starts off with a few basic workouts, and as you progress, it unlocks further workouts targeting different muscle groups. Each workout is accompanied by the in-game assistant Tipp. Tipp is a game character that demonstrates the workout if the user needs guidance for proper form. The campaign isn't the only way to play, as it also offers pre-set workouts. The pre-set workouts are broken down by muscle groups if one wanted to target shoulders, back, or even a cardio based workout. One could even select in-game level to jog in place for a few minutes, each averaging slightly less than a mile in distance. There's a lot to uncover, but if you're looking for something to get your heart pumping or a reason to jump back into a fitness routine, Ring Fit Adventure is a great starting point.
As soon as I saw Ring Fit Adventure be announced, I knew this would be something that would help to motivate me a bit more to be active. I love video games and I do enjoy working out however working out has become sort of a chore lately because of the inconvenience and difficulties of making it to a actual gym to do so. The visuals are very colorful, very bright, clear and easy to read. It is very appealing because it entices you to actually want to look at the screen and become more involved. I appreciate how the game has you set different goals for yourself according to whatever work out you would like to do. I recommend this game for anybody who is a beginner or starting to work out for their 1st time. This is a easy stepping stone and tool into an environment that contains many different variations and many different intensities that you can graduate to.
I purchased this not because I have an issue with holding to a workout schedule, but because I wanted a way to make my workouts more enjoyable and fun. I find this to be an effective to get cardio into my routine, and try to spend about ten to fifteen minutes a day using Ring Fit. While using it I've lost about 15 pounds, however some of the weightloss is from dieting and cutting out soda as well. The game is quite enjoyable, and working through a basic RPG while doing your cardio is certainly fun. If you have knee issues, or feet issues I can't recommend this as there's a lot of running in place and knee raises in this. It's very heavily focused on running. It seems like a gimmick at face value before you own it, but once you purchase it and start committing to using it regularly... You realize it's fairly well thought out and a good way to supplement getting yourself moving.
I got the Ring Fit to add some exercise to my life. I know myself well enough that I would not travel to and from a gym to work out and I thought this would be entertaining enough to keep me exercising at home. I've been with it for a month and, for the most part, the game is exactly what I wanted. There are multiple modes - the gaming-like adventure mode and the exercise selection workout mode are what most would gravitate towards. I always do the adventure mode, because I find it entertaining enough to have me working out for longer and keep me on the routine. The few flaws I've found with the game are as follows: 1. If you check your pulse after a stage, it takes a photo on your switch. If you check your pulse after a stage, it takes a photo on your switch. There might be a way to turn this function off, but in a quick look-around, I couldn't find it. 2. There are some specific assists for those who have certain problems (ie, bad knees or back). However, some stages of the adventure mode focus on specific areas of the body or specific exercises, so this might be an issue for some. 3. The voices for the Ringcon character are annoying - the male one less so, but both are high-pitched and grate on the nerves at least a little. 4. The game has a cooldown option for after your workout. The problem I've run into with this is that it may decide I did more arm exercises that day and focus on only cooling that set of muscles down; however, in those same levels I did arm exercises, I was also jogging through said levels and knee-lifting up stairs, so my legs were worked out a bit as well. I've just done more stretches after the game's cool down ends to keep from getting a cramp later. Overall, this is a good tool for working out at home if you like games and maybe need something along that line motivation-wise and entertainment-wise to stick with it. The ringcon seems pretty sturdy and the leg strap fits a large range of leg sizes.
An exercise game has two important, and very obvious, components. Gameplay/fun and exercise. To be clear, despite being an exercise game, this has all the polish and love you expect from a first party Nintendo game. The music is great and the art style works really well. The gameplay has more than I expected. You run (literally) through a linear, though with some branching paths, level where you'll have to battle monsters in turn based battles. You have to defeat these monsters through the power of exercise! Choose an exercise and complete a set to damage the enemy. Each enemy is a different color which represents what set of exercises they're weak to. Another wrinkle is the ability to collect ingredients throughout the levels and make smoothies to heal or buff yourself during battles. These battles are obviously not as in depth as, say, Final Fantasy VI, but they are more fun than you'd expect from an exercise game! So no casual gamer should feel intimidated. Exercise-wise, this game completely kicks my butt. Wii Fit was nice, but it was limited by the fact that it was controlled by a stationary board on the floor. Here you have full range of motion. It comes with a pilates ring and a strap that you tie to your thigh. This gives you a much bigger range of exercises compared to the Wii. That means you are getting a butt kicking. But don't fret! There are 30 different difficulty levels if you're finding anything too difficult. If you're looking for strength training, it's not really here. But for just general fitness you absolutely CAN get results and feel better with this game! Keep it up 4-5 times a week, you can't really go wrong with the exercises here. In addition to this exercise talk, this game does have a pretty positive tone. A friendly writer helps you through your warm ups and cool downs and congratulates you on what you accomplished during your session. In summary, despite being an exercise game, this has the finish that you would expect from an in-house Nintendo game. From the music to the gameplay. The gameplay/battles have just enough depth to it to be interesting but not be overwhelming for casual gamers. The way it's set up allows a greater range of motion, so the exercises in the game are varied and helps with general fitness. Recommend this to anyone that wants to just get moving and increase their general fitness indoors!
This game is so much fun and is great for your avid fitness enthusiast. Don't let the 'fit' fool you, this game is great for most wellness enthusiasts. From stretching to yoga and intense cardio to muscle burning this game will keep your fitness and wellness engaged. One feature I really like that this game offer is the ability to let you create and curate workouts as you see fit. You can curate your own workout exercises and have routines so when you load up the game you are able to select specific workouts depending on what you need or how you feel. Adventure mode is great and although the game is not multiplayer friendly it does offer multiple profiles for other users so you may use to compete or track each others accomplishments. Definitely recommend it.
