I've not seen any false positives yet. We noticed the app's response time is much quicker than our original Ring. Its live feed comes up much more quickly. It's great to use Alexa to get an instantaneous live feed on our Echo Spot. There is no battery option for the Ring Pro 2, so it needs to be wired in for power. This was no problem for us since we swapped out our old dumb doorbell for the original Ring, so we already had power running to the mounting location. It's nice that the Ring 2 Pro has a slimmer housing compared to the original. The other biggest difference seems to be in the size of the video frame. It is more square than the original. This is great as it lets you capture both the face of the person at the door, and also lets you see if there are any packages in front of the door. The video quality is also better than the original. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Ring Pro 2. It's a nice upgrade for our existing Ring and we're happy that we can leave the motion detection feature on all the time now.

We are "latecomers" to this technology, but finally got one. We had our electrician install for us to assure it was done correctly since we live a much older home. This is an excellent device. We are so happy with the quality. The app is easy (and fun!) to use. We are senior citizens and had no problem figuring everything out with the app. This device does what it should and then some! Very clear videos, notifications/detections are immediate and flawless. Very pleased with this purchase and, so far, with everything about the product. The only thing we are adding in the near future is a Ring Chime Pro so can also hear the doorbell ring inside the home. We do have an Echo Show 5 (also a GREAT device!), but we prefer to get the Ring Chime Pro.

If anyone comes to my front door and gets their face fairly close, they may be identifiable, but that means they have to enter the property from the front only. We could have bought their not as new, system and got a bunch more cameras and devices and would have spent about the same. They tell me this is the newest and best they have, Is that what I needed? Seems like we would have been better off buying a little older(2021) unit, and gotten more bang. I also have a RING SPOTLIGHT CAMERA WITH A SOLAR PANEL above my porch (alerts are turned off) that records everything in the front of my house including the street so I can refer back to those videos if I need to. I was able to see how a delivery guy got my package out of his truck which answered a lot of questions why my package looked like it did - my door bell camera didn’t pick that part up. I ALSO RECOMMEND GETTING THE RING SOLAR SIGN - I believe people that capture crooks or porch pirates on their camera wouldn’t even have them come up to their house if they advised ... Love our ring pro 2 video doorbell! We purchased after a package went missing from our front porch and now with the ring’s motion detection and live streaming we have more peace of mind when we are away. The video/audio quality are excellent. I would definitely recommend. We hardwired the doorbell and the setup was easy, although took longer than the advertised 5 mins. More like 30 mins, and I still don’t have the existing chime integrated correctly. Not a big deal - the doorbell itself has a pretty loud chime that we can hear through most of the house so it hasn’t been an urgent issue. I enjoy the feature that allows me to silence the motion detection alarms. It comes in handy when the kids are running around the yard!
