We are not able to reach a set temperature and then maintain it. We find that if it reaches, say 22 deg it soon becomes too hot forcing us to switch off and of course within a short time it becomes necessary to switch it back on again. So it becomes on off on off. The heater struggles to reach a set temperature when it is on the econ mode.

Brilliant Product!

I have a large, totally open downstairs area - living, dining, kitchen & office - plus an open stairwell leading to 3 bedrooms. I did my research & read reviews before buying my Rinnai Avenger 25MJ LPG unflued heater. I am incredibly impressed with the instant heat output from this heater & it's ability to make my home so warm & cosy! The unit is stylish & unobtrusive ( I chose white to complement my mud brick walls) & easy to operate. I love my new heater & definitely recommend it to prospective purchasers!

Finnair Avenger 25 LPG convection heater

Super pleased with this heater & impressed with how quickly it takes the chill off a very open plan living space. Looks good with a neat compact body. I chose the Matt silver model which blends in beautifully against my grey walls. Highly recommend this product.

Heats quickly

This heater does a great job of heating a big area. Our only complaint is, even though it has a six star efficiency rating, it does use a lot of gas. We only use it when necessary & does heat up very quickly. Other than that it is a good appliance.

Instant heat

I have always used gas heaters, but this model is the best heater I have purchased. It is quiet, heats to my selected temperature very quickly and the fan self adjusts according to the room temperature required. I am very happy with this product.

Rinnai Avenger 25 - Customers Lament

Having purchased a Rinnai LPG convection heater through Appliances on line I installed and ran the heater for two nights but the smell of gas was overwhelming so we contacted Rinnai to make a warranty claim where were things got interesting. Rinnai spent five to seven minutes reciting contract conditions over the phone and demanding my agreement or they would not honour the warranty. They finally logged the warranty claim with a local retailer and I am still to have the heater internals rectified so that it doesn’t smell of gas. Despite the gas smell the heater itself seems very efficient and heats the room up to the set point you program into the heater. We are first time gas heater users. This unit is so easy to operate, is safe, stylish & gives instant warmth. We are very happy customers. Highly recommend.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

All the info clearly states it is a LPG portable gas heater. Bearing this in mind you would think it can connect to a LPG gas bottle.No it needs a permenant bayonet type plumbing fitting, hooked up to the gas cylinder.Don’t start me about the problems I had getting a full refund from them

Very warm.

There is a very strong smell when you start to use this product but it goes after a day. Definitely keep a window open it is very strong. Good heater, keeps a very large open space very warm.

We were sold the wrong heater to begin with, we should have been sold the natural gas heater!!

We were sold the gas bottle heater not the natural gas heater. After getting a plumber to find out why it wasnt working we realised the problem. Meanwhile it cost us $132 for the plumber Cheers - Francine
