I bought this product from Appliances Central, their service and delivery was first class. The product arrived within 48 hours. The product was faulty and kept turning itself off after varying periods of time. Rinnai has since dispensed a service man, who replaced all of the parts inside the heater, which has solved the turning off problem. Not sure why they just didn't replace the entire heater.

From the moment we hit start, I knew this was a great purchase. It self-lit in about 3 seconds and got a 60m2 space up to 22 degrees from 15 in about 5 minutes. Not sure what the comment s about it being noisy are about, we almost cant hear it, you would have to be sitting on top of it for the mouse to be an issue. I love it, best heater purchase I have ever made. The only possible criticism I could make is it would be TOO hot if your space is smaller (I think it says 63m2 minimum on the box), it is made for large open-plan spaces.

We were talking into the Rinnai Avenger 25, it was more than we were keen to spend but considering the layout of our home it was the better of the two options. We can run this for 30 minutes and it heats up our rather large open plan townhouse nicely. The features are nice but probably the best one is when it gets to an optimal temp it doesn't keep heating. Would highly recommend installing Google Nests as opposed to standard fire detectors just in case of carbon monoxide.

Thanks for stopping by, I decided to upgrade our old NG heater, Rinnai Avenger 25. You Knocked one out of the ball park with this one. 10/10 . Sensational heater, ease of use. My advice given to me by a gasfitter please invest in a CO Alarm , Ihe recommended Quell battery operated alarm Carbon Monoxide Alarm Model: PD04. Please crack a window or 2 to allow fresh to enter, dilute exhaust fumes as it’s a unflued heater. On future models I’d like to see a optional flue (flexible/rigid) hose connection. We had a Rinnai Granada for 25 years and decided on getting the Rinnai Avenger as a replacement. We certainly weren't let down as it's a step up on our trusted old heater. Heats our open plan house within minutes, operating quietly and efficiently. More versatile too as you can adjust the temperature better too.
We had our old Rinnai for nearly 20 yrs. It was still working when we decided to replace it. We bought the Rinnai Avenger 25 because of its good reviews and recommendations. We are glad we did. We paid Appliance online around $200 less than the market price. Appliance online delivered it the next day and picked up the old one at the same time. The new unit looks slightly smaller but is twice as powerful.
I ordered my heater friday afternoon and it arrived monday morning, I was surprised to see it was made in Japan not China. This is my second Rinnai NG heater in ten years and I am very pleased with the performance and its easy to use. I read a lot of bleating by people who expected it to adjust to the room temp, the Eco mode is just as good and with the remote control you can easily adjust the temp. It excellent at quickly heating up a cold room. Like all unflued gas heaters there are fumes if you don't ventilate the room, they are only slight and I don't notice them. Finally, the best price I could find for this model was at Appliances Online.

We bought this to replace our old Paloma heater which was playing up and kept coming up with an error message. We persisted for the last few years and forked out hundreds of dollars on repairs and servicing. This year we bit the bullet and bought the Avenger after reading reviews and recommendations on the best gas heater. All I can say is I wish we'd done it sooner! The heating is over and above what our similar capacity paloma pumped out, our 2-storey house is warmed up in no time and best of all - no cutting out with an error message, so we wake up to a beautifully toasty home now. LOVE this heater!!!
We bought this to heat a large open area as was informed by the salesman and the reviews we were shown were very positive.Bit disappointed as it does not heat the whole area that we required and we have pointed it at different angles to reflect the heat.The early morning timer function works very well and is a simple function to operate. No problems with the remote control performance either. Needs Fluing or airflow in the room your heating as you get that after burnt gas smell through the house. Would I recommend this to my friends probably not but if they were at my house and seen it in action then they could make up their own mind.
