First time in the water wearing the suit and i dingy my board with that metal clip belt where the zip free is, not clear enough why do Rip Curl do this, my surf level is high enough so I'm surprised how little things as this can do that, Whyyy!!!!When I receive my wetsuit I contacted customer service by email asking them if that's okay but no response.However... Great wetsuit and fast shipping, I'd buy two sizes and return one just to make sure it's your correct size since they don't do exchange but only refunded. Incase the waves are pumping and no time for waiting for next purchase.

Both Flexible & Warm

So far in about 10 surfs in low °50 water, it's been absolutely amazing. Super comfortable, flexible, and warm! Didn't have that weird new wetsuit stiffness. Much better construction than my last O'Neil Psychotech (which literally fell apart in less than a year).

Cute cut! But.....

I've had the G-Bomb wetsuit in the past so when I bought this suit I thought it was the same as my previous versions. When it arrived I was a little shocked by how small it appeared. The tags read "new ultra stretch material" which made sense but woah, it looked like it was made for a doll. I stretched it on and it fit pretty good, a little snug but over all when I wear it in the surf it seems to stay put. Bare in mind, its only 1mm so it isn't really designed to keep you warm. It has a really cute cut, but I get cold it in within a few hours depending on conditions. Great for sun protection. I miss the old Gbomb versions though, they were cute and kept me warm in the surf esp during dawn partrols in Maui!

Perfect for outdoor pool days in the mid-40’s to low 60’s

I bought this for outdoor lap swimming. I was unclear exactly how thick I needed to be comfy, yet not encumbered. Perfect! I flip up the sleeves—which are a bit long on me—(I am 5’1”) and am good to go! Pool is in high 70’s… (Am I a cold water wimp—yes! But I swim 4-1/2-5 m. wk. with this.)

Perfect wetsuit for Hawaii

I was looking for a wetsuit that would work in Hawaii (I get cold easily). This will be perfect. It's thick enough to keep me warm but light enough not to constrain movement too badly. It's a wetsuit, so the fit is intentionally snug, and getting into it requires some amount of contortion, especially for the sleeves. I am 5'5", 133 lbs, and the size 10 fits well. (Pay attention to the size chart, as this is sized more like racing swimsuits rather than the more generous clothing sizes.)

Stay surfing longer

This suit is sick - the water dropped to 60 last week and with this 4/3 Flashbomb, I don't feel any drop in body temp. Suit paddles well without noticeable restriction and drys much faster than my other suits once out of the water.

Super tight fitting

I have at least 5 RipCurl Flashbomb 4/3 Chest Zip Fullsuit with XLS Size. however the one I purchased is very small fitting. I'm not sure but maybe it's several years old model and shrinked?

Superior comfort and warmth

The ripcurl flashbomb series of wetsuits is by far the best suit I've worn in 50 years of surfing. They're not just talking when they say its the fastest drying suit on the market. Turned inside out after a session and the quick drying properties are clearly an eye opener, especially if drying for a second sesh. The fit of ripcurl suits are very ergonomically designed and very comfortable and warm.. The E6 material is very stretchy and flexible for easy on and off. Formerly a local resident of the North Shore of Oahu, I have also tested their flashbomd surf tops and spring suit there and found them to be superior against the tradewinds. This suit is sooo cute

This suit is sooo cute and fits like a glove! I feel totally secure in it and can’t wait to rip. I used the size chart and it was accurate. Very excited to buy more products from here, the original price tag was still on and I’m so glad I got it for such a steal!

Very good suit, great entry system

Bought this to replace a 4 year old Flashbomb. Now that I've worn for a few sessions and have some feedback. The tweaks they've made to the entry system are fantastic. Especially way easier to get it off after a session (the old version was truly hard to get out of). The zipper is little sensitive to line up, but it seals up once you do. The suit is very flexible, almost feels like a 3/2. The one bummer is it isn't as warm as my older version. When I put on the old version of the Flashbomb it definitely felt thicker, and the lining like being inside of a plush toy. This suit is definitely more flexible and thinner, but have a feeling warmth is sacrificed as a result...still a very good suit
