I thought that this was great as it was both cheap and lightweight. However, after a few weeks of snoreless bliss, I started experiencing problems chewing. This was the first time I had ever had problems chewing. I switched back to more expensive and uncomfortable dentist fitted device. Almost immediately my chewing problems disappeared. I would recommend people spend the extra money and go to their dentist. NM

Did not worked for me

Shaped in two attempts, worked OK in the first night. Very little snoring noise, I am told :)But it got loose and had to reshape again after a couple of use. After a couple of nights, got loose again and snoring noise was high! It looks like it is loosing shape & firmness with the body heat in the mouth. In other words, it could not hold the chin in forward position to prevent snoring.

Disappointing waste of money

Moulded the first one exactly as per instructions and it ended up an unusable, twisted out of shape mess. Moulded the second one at a lower temperature of water. It was so uncomfortable that it was unable to be worn for more than a short period of time.

Does what it says, mostly.

Been a regular user of Ripsnore for a few years now. If I sleep on my back it's moderately effective. If I sleep on my side it works well. Works best if you get to sleep in a relaxed state.Needs to be replaced on a regular basis as a matter of hygiene and effectiveness. Don't use it past six months of regular use. Fit up the second mouth guard and order the next box of Ripsnores.

Excellent device that worked to me
27 May 2019

While it obviously doesn’t work for everyone, it did for me. Using the sleep apps to record my sleep I can clearly see my apnea is gone and my snoring is lighter. I think the trick is to learn to keep your mouth shut when sleeping which I found was necessary to stop drooling anyway. Maybe it was made easier because I think I grind my teeth sometimes which would have me keeping my jaws closed anyway. I’ve also kept my first mouth piece for 2 years. I only needed to replace it recently because I left it in a hotel on holiday.

It works but......
12 September 2018

Seems to work well, my wife says I havent snored since using it. When I wake up in the morning my jaw and teeth are a little sore from having my jaw slightly forward. Hoping I Ill get use to this and it wont be a problem, only been using for a week. I was previously using a mouth guard because I grind my teeth, the rip snore might wear quickly if you grind.

This product does really work.

I was a little skeptical about this product but my girlfriend was getting upset and no sleep. So I checked online and this product seemed to ave good review. Its hard to tell if it does work, as I am a very heavy sleeper. But my girlfriend is certainly happier and sleeping better. She says there is still a snore but much improved. It does take a week or so to get used to the mouth guard, and the rough outer aspect did give me a small ulcer for a day.The biggest issue is a dry mouth, but having a glass of water by the bed certainly isnt a hassel.I would recommend this for those that have partners who arent sleeping from snoring.

Zero snoring but sore teeth
23 July 2020

This product did stop me snoring, but it hurt my teeth and I often found myself taking it out in my sleep and waking up with it on the floor.I also found the material it is made out of is not thick enough, my teeth have already gone through one of the mouth guards, so I can close my mouth around it so it is not as effective.
