Usually caused by general use and seal degradation, a leaking rear main seal is often no simple fix. Rislone Concentrated Rear Main Seal Repair is designed specifically for crankshaft rear main seals to rejuvenate seals that have shrunk, become brittle and hardened. The concentrated formula also contains polymers that seal and repair grooves or scratches in the seal mating surface caused by general wear and tear. Rislone Rear Main Seal Repair will also help to stop leaks in all engine oil seals, valve stem seals and O-rings while rejuvenating all seals to prevent any potential leaks happening in the future. Rislone Concentrated Rear Main Seal Repair is safe to use in all petrol, diesel and LPG vehicles including supercharged and turbocharged applications. It is compatible to mix with all conventional mineral, semi and full synthetic engine oils and doesnt contain friction modifiers making it suitable for use in motorcycles and ATVs fitted with wet clutches. 1 Bottle of Rislone Rear Main Seal Repair treats most vehicles up to 6L of oil capacity and for use in smaller engines such as motorcycles and ATVs, 93mL per every 1L of oil is recommended.

This is my second bottle, after each oil change, the result is so amazing.I had a quite serious engine oil leak, but after using it for a while, my undercar oil pan in the garage showed no oil dripping anymore(It does what it says).Tips: Use it when you change your engine oil. After that, drive your car for approx 10Km, or half an hour at least, to ensure proper mixing/blend with your new engine oil.The noticable result will happen after about 150 to 200Kms.Double thumbs up!

My vehicle is a 2.8 litre diesel. The oil leak was only small with a few drops each day in my driveway. Enough to irritate me. Like many people I didn't want to spend big money having the seal replaced. I applied the product with a fresh oil and filter change. Within 24 hours and 100 kilometres my few drops had become many more. I have now driven over 500 kilometres and it has been a few weeks and the leaks have not improved at all. It appears this product works for some engines, it did not work for mine.

Was sceptical it would work; but it was cheap so I tried it. Didn’t work. Had a leak from the rear main seal on my Audi A3, and put 2 bottles of this in over time and neither worked at all; still lost the same amount of oil. Ended up paying $700 to have it fixed anyway

I had a small drop of oil hanging onto the bottom of the bell housing, looked for leaks and narrowed it down to the main seal. I used a $50 bottle of Rislone with new oil. After a month it’s done nothing.Penrite oil stop leak seems to have good reviews so I added that yesterday - will update everyone in a few weeks time.
Only put this Risloine main seal repair in a few weeks ago and have only done about 250 kms. It seems to have slowed the leak down but it is still there. A few drops get on the exhaust pipe and then I can smell it burning. if it wasn't for that then I would not be able to detect it so easily as I am not getting much on the floor where I park. I used 5W 30 oil which is quite thin but after the next oil change I will use 10W 40 as the car is 20 years old and a thicker oil in the hot climate where I live might work a little better. However the thinner 5w 30 will certainly make sure that the stop leak product does penetrate the leak area.
I have a very small front end bearing leak (maybe a drop every month). I expected the leak would stop based on reviews of stopping larger leaks. I've travelled ~450 k's with Rislone and maybe the leak is a fraction better or placebo. Or maybe not a good fit for diesel Tritons. Try other products first.
It's effective up to a point; and that point is how worn the seal is. It's more effective if you use this product as soon as you see initial oil leaks
I purchased this product and did a review on it about one month ago. I have sold this vehicle since. However to my surprise after about a week before I sold it, the leak seemed to have slowed down even more, to very little sign of a leak, but after about 700klm. This leads me to believe that this product may in many cases require a longer period of time to work successfully. I had used cheaper stop leaks before on this car but they were not very successful at all. The extra money spent was really worth it. I would also suggest that if the car is old like this one, then perhaps using a slightly thicker oil next oil change after the Rislone Main seal repair, might have some benefit also. I must also mention that my leak was not coming from the rear main seal but ... MoreI purchased this product and did a review on it about one month ago. I have sold this vehicle since. I must also mention that my leak was not coming from the rear main seal but rather the front of engine seal which would have been an enormous job to repair on a Jaguar X type V6 with the engine being a transverse mounting.
I was concerned like most people about the product clogging up the engine or causing damage, I added this and it stopped my leak in less than 50klms. Hopefully it will stay working until I can afford a new car. Expensive but 🤞
My oil cooler on my astra was leaking onto my exhaust andI put a bottle this product and its taken around 350kms but the leak has almost gone. I believe with another 100kms of driving i believe the leak will be completely gone. Highly reccomend this product.
