I really went back and forth on whether to buy these boots. The hesitation was the price of the boot. But after finally reading all the reviews and the YouTube videos I bought a pair. After owning these boots for sometime now I can say they are worth the price. By far the most comfortable, stylish, and durable footwear I own. Not only that they look better with time. Lastly, the customer service at the Gastown location in Vancouver was great! They answered all of my questions, and gave great advice on how to take care of the boots.

I am working on my second pair of the Gardener for everyday out and about and was tired of wearing uncomfy shoes to work- I’m on my feet all day in a healthcare clinic. But I wanted a dressier looking boot in a finer leather for work, so I invested in the Comfort Craftsman. I don’t know how many women typically buy these boots for office attire, but I can wholeheartedly recommend these as a chic Chelsea with crop pants. And they are very, very comfortable. I was literally thinking today that my feet were very happy! I wear the same size in the comfort craftsman as I did in the Gardener. My husband has had his 1st pair of R.M. Williams boots for over 20 years. He hopes that this pair will take him into his80's.
High quality boots at competitive price. I purchased these boots for my sons 21st. They arrived really quickly and were well packaged. The price was similar to other stockists but past experiences led me here again.
Although the boots were out of stock, the staff tracked down a pair for us and arranged to have them delivered.

I have two pairs of rm Williams both with the comfort rubber sole. I decided on the leather sole option in suede. The suede was of a good not great quality as the nap was longer in places. The leather sole is flexible and only time will tell if it is of high quality. One of the big differences between the comfort and classic versions is the insole. The comfort has that fixed cushioned insole and the classic has the traditional leather insole. I prefer the leather insole as I do worry about the longevity of the cushioned insole. For first timers I would recommend the comfort over the classic as it can be worn all year round. One negative point is the heel. Love these boots, over the years I have owned a number of these great boots. But in this case, shame about the quality control who missed that the inside leather heel lining had been scored and at this price point in my view, is unaceptable.
