Great oven but poor connections internally. Had mine for 2 years and had to repair it for the first time today. After rewiring the heating element it's working great again.

I can not fault this oven it works how it should. The one thing I thought might be a problem was the timer but it is handy as you cannot leave the oven going indefinitely. My food comes out like it has been in the oven at home .

We bought our oven connected it up and BAM!!! Nothing happened. Took it back to snowys and they replaced it. Second one works great but the cigarette plug fell to bits but we changed it to an Anderson Plug we have cooked pies, pizzas, roasts and chicken legs in it on our trips offroad. Great investment for our long trips.

Haven't been able to use in anger yet but did cook a pie on a short trip. Pretty impressive. Good quality. At this stage would recommend.
very happy with the road chef , worked well heated up meat pies and cooked a pizza and even done a few stews in it . for the stews just got a cake tin covered it in foil 2 and a half hours later had a nice hot feed , told a couple of truck drivers i work with and they are now looking into getting one for the trucks as i will also be using this one in my truck and my 4x4 .
Used twice. The first time the cigarette power adaptor melted into the plug and nearly started a fire. The second time it was alright. But frankly we no longer trust it.
works a treat when operating with the fitted Anderson plug. do not use the cigarette plug as it melted due to overheating which would indicate the current draw is to great for the connection. May pose a fire hazard.
Our chief has been great on the road working we use 2/3 times a week maybe more cook heaps in it snags ,chops ,lamb shanks , roast, ribs, pies / s rolls, reheated frozen dinners, I would buy another one great idea with the lock on the door it all just works if I had five thumbs I would give it five but only have two 👍🏼👍🏼
Have it in the work van for warming up lunches and pies. Works great. Would be nice to be able to bypass the timer so it can be left in warm for the whole morning but otherwise perfect. Build quality is excellent. First time I have had crispy pies on the go without buying them :)
Bought product and took away camping the following weekend. Plugged unit in and would not turn on at all. Started to troubleshoot and found positive wire pulled straight out of Anderson plug. Checked negative wire and it was the same. This tells me QA is rubbish if these simple things cannot be assembled correctly.
