But for the Q7max, mapping is quite efficient. You can start quirck mapping, which creates a map for my 1000 sq ft house in just a few minutes! The map, even quickly created, is very precise and can even be fleshed up in further rounds of cleanings. Amazing! The robot's water tank and dustbin are desinged in one combo. This robot vacuum is SO GOOD! We adore this new addition to our house. No go lines and no mop zones are trustworthy and simple to set up, and the mapping is excellent. I haven't had any program glitches. Excellent suction removes all debris from my floors. We frequently use the mop and are quite pleased with how well it cleans our laminate floors. You will initially experience streaks. The unclean flooring are to blame for this. The streaks will get thinner with continued use. Comparatively speaking, this is much quieter than our old iLife robot vacuum. While viewing TV in the same room, we can use the standard strength suction setting. Had been on the fence about purchasing a robot vac for over a year. After lots of research and debating whether it would actually be worth it, finally went with this model and I am in love with it. Does an amazing job vacuuming our hardwood floors, tiled areas and rug. The mop function I wasn’t expecting much from, but has been equally excellent. Love the app and ability to turn it on and control where it goes remotely. Also like the ability to set certain rooms to have higher suction power or to do the area twice. Postage time was reasonable. Map set up was easy and is now very accurate. I made some mistakes initially but that was more because I didn't map the whole house initially and then when I wanted the vacuum to do a new room it got confused. But it was easy to delete the map and just start again once I knew what I needed to do. I love my Q7 max! I did a lot of research into robot vacuums and decided on the the Q7 max because of the high vacuum power in comparison with others. I have only used the mop function once, I want to give my tile floors a really good mop and grout clean so the robot vacuum can just maintain after that. I will start my review about the good stuff for Roborock Q7 Max+. -The mapping function is spot on and generates a very accurate map of the areas. I have a 2 storey house and it created an accurate map of the entire house. If you have large mirrors touching the floors (I have mirrors on my sliding doors for my bedroom robes) beware the machine sees the reflection and thinks the room extends behind the mirrors, but thats how lidar works and its not a design fault of the machine. The quick fix for this issue is to put 6" duct tape strip on the bottom of the mirrors. I have used the mopping function just once after closing doors to my carpeted areas as I didn't want any accidents. And to be honest was disappointed with the results. -The software can be improved a bit to easily select the floor map, right now its a 3-4 step process to swith between floor maps. Overall feedback -A decent robo vacuum I would say since I haven't had any robo vacuums before. -I would recommend this if they improve the brush design for picking up pet hair from carpet. -The over all vacuum could have been cheaper if you take away the mopping function which is not good anyways.

It's amazing how it vacuums and mops at the same time, there's minimal water used so it's dry to walk on quite quickly if needed and it's perfect for our wooden floors. It does a great job of mopping any dirt stains. It's also brilliant at vacuuming rugs, it just automatically changes itself to a higher level when it goes over the rugs on the floor. Love the way it talks to us, letting us know what is happening at the beginning and end and once it's finished cleaning it finds its way home to the dock. It manages to get around furniture easily. We have a multi level home and it is easy to take to another level and start without moving the whole docking station. I’m so very happy with this and the teenagers even pick their things up now so they don’t interrupt the vacuum! I would definitely recommend this robot vacuum and it is a pleasure coming home to a clean house and not having to immediately vacuum everyday after work.

Easy to setup on IPhone and IPad - once Rocky mapped the house I was able with patience/playing to merge, select rooms, zone and draw an invisible wall where required. I have routines for designated rooms/zones to vacuum whole house, vacuum/mop tiles, vacuum carpets only and a zone to vacuum/mop kitchen only. The option to select a single room or zone only is great. The suction is amazing and automatically changes from carpet to tiles. Mopping - high water flow option works well on the tiles with the mopping function only working when water in tank/pad connected.
